This is my "prototype" of Major Bludd. I usually don't like to atempt to improve on the set design of Hasbro's characters but in this case I think that it was needed. I can't believe that they are going to release the 25A version as is. I will be buying a few of them but only because I need one as a collectors piece and one for custom fodder. I need the dog tags head, right arm and weapons to finish off my protype. I was just to lazy to put forth the ammount of effort need to finish off my protype sucessfully on my own lol.

Very nice take of the good ole Major. Seems you suffer from the same issue I have with my camera (the flash washes out the figure). Is that the RAH head or something different entirely?

I could have gotten a better photo but I was in a hurry. I will repost better photos tomorrow. The head is actually a GTG head that was called the good major. I like it and the heads hollow out very well. The helmet is removable and is the one that came from the cobra officer that I used to make the figure.

give it a few more months to adjust the helmet, and take out that arm articulation, can't have that!

Why o why the f--k couldn't Hasbro do exactly what you did!?

Stupendous! Everything Bludd should be, perfect modernization of the 1983 figure, totally ready to kick some ass. (aaaaand it's everything that Hasbro's screw-up ISN'T. See that custom, Hasbro? Yeah, take lessons from the customizers again!!!)

Kind of funny that you mentioned that. My friend and I (both long-time Joe and SW buyers from back in the day) were discussing the whole Collector's Club Custom contest. We agreed that it could be a way for Hasbro to see just exactly how they could milk the molds. Makes a lot of since. Sorry to hi-jack the thread.
