Stalker

Nothing major, just a more accurate '83 paint job and new hands to replace the painted gloves. The green is not that shiny in person, my camera flash just really picks up Citadel Colours paint.

Roadblock

A head swap from the Spytroops RB and hands from Spytroops Duke really help RB a lot here.

Grunt

Grunt is a Snake-eyes figure with a Blowtorch head and new hands.

Grand Slam

A repaint Flash body with a BBI head. I chose the gritted teeth head, thought it'd look badass once her gets his jet pack when I get an extra Cobra Air Trooper. The flash really whited out the mouth, when GS is complete, I'll get some better pics.

I really like that RB!

with the way these figures are constructed, is the paint chipping issue still a problem as it was int he past with the older style figures?

Sometimes chipping can be a problem, but if you clean up the joint and shave it down a bit, they work ok.

Awesome customs there! I like Stalker's paint job, and Grunt just looks perfect. That's GvC Blowtorch's head you used? Looks great!

Got a question about these head mods... are you just cutting off the neck stumps and drilling a hole in the head, or is their a technique for putting a larger space at the end of the hole, so the neck ball pops in like a production figure?

Cut off the neck post, dremel it down to the jawline, then use a ball dremel bit to make a bit of a socket. Then I use a thin cylindrical bit to drill into the head. The head pops rigt onto the ball joint and maintains full articulation.
