Posting these at his request: here's a few I did for Kilcarr.
I'll let him chime in the talk about them.

Whoa! Those all look awesome, but I'm particularly interested in knowing what brand/type paint you used on those clones. They look factory!

Thanks, guys.
The Clones were dyed black, then sprayed.

I don't care what Purists say...Storm/Clone troopers look better in black.

Agreed

From top to bottom

DC's Atomic Skull:
Parts: Batman Beyond Blight head and ToyBiz HulkBuster Iron Man body

I've always like the story and character of The Atomic Skull and for years was stymied on a head choice. Then upon chance I happened upon this Blight figure and it was a match made in heaven.

CloneTroopers are going to be shocktroopers for a character I came up with.

Marvel comics D-Man: After seeing the 1st appearance DareDevil and the Wolverine head I knew I could get a simple D-Man. O know he isnt to scale or has his dopey grin but I still like him and he fills a role in my Avengers.

DC's The Spectre: Not too much to say about this one. I was hugely inspired by Chief's Spectre and always wanted a toy of the character so there you have it.

Thanks, kudos, gratitude and many other platitudes go to John. Without him my custom universe would include nothing but LBCs and he has really helped me make creative strides. You're a hell of a guy and I thank you. :-)

Cool stuff, John. -- Did you have to do any mods to the Wolvie head for D-Man, or did it pop right on the DD neck?

I didn't realized anyone remembered my Spectre custom. Nice to know I'm appreciated sometimes :embarassed:

But now I have to go back and fix my Spec's cloak, since it looks like crap compared to John's. I like the darker green you used, John - looks a lot less cartoon-y than mine.

Great work!
