im up with another 25th anniversary modification, this time im doin a joe member, LADY JAYE. the first time ive seen the original fig in person, i thought she is no close to the exact appearance of lady jaye in the cartoon series and comics.
so i decided to give her a makeover.
the original figure has a military cap and wears a hair and face that looks like geena davis in the movie "a league of their own" and ML mystique face features.




i pulled the cap and resculpted a new hair using epoxy putty. repainted the whole face including the eyes, lips and flesh tone.
also repainted the suit and gave her a darker wash on the uniform. i wasnt happy still with the outcome of the face, i guess her nose maybe appear too big... or maybe it's just me.
i hope FLINT is happy now.

I think the eyes turned out a heck of a lot better than the Hasbro one. I don't like the big bambi eyes nad eyelashes effect.
I also like the darker wash on the jumpsuit, much better.

I dont hate the stock figure but this looks much better,good work with the resculpt of the head,and the paint job is flawless.

Yah, this is good all over the place. Very nice freesculpting of her hair!

i think i have to dremel the nose, it appears like it's too huge.
it's weird coz i havent touched the stock LJ nose.

im back...
almost everybody says the nose looks huge including myself...
i did the necessary thing to improve the face.
she just had a nose surgery.
i have dremeled and repainted the LJ head.

Now that's an improvement! Nice work. Wish my sculpting skills were better so I could get my LJ looking that good. You did an awesome job on her.
