Anniversary Cobra has their death-from-above guys with the Air Troopers on jet packs, and I realized [while finishing Topside] that the snake legion badly needed death-from-below troops too (especially with no new 25A Eels or Hydro Vipers or Sub Vipers on the way).

If the Air Troopers are glory-hound Officers, then the Sea Troopers are the down-and-dirty, NO glory Troopers who swim good and kill "LASER BLAST" under water even better.

Very nice. I'm always partial to sea based figs. Just one question. How do their floppy hats stay on underwater? :shifty:

That's a good idea. I like that you used a basic Trooper.

Being an Army Diver for several years, I too have an affinity for Deep Sea Troops.
Great job, great use, and outstanding use of the basics.

Happy y'all dig them, thanks for the praise. If an experienced Army diver approves, that's even more awesome!

These guys are pretty neat. Simple and very effective! Throw these in a Cobra night lander raft and they'd be ready for some heavy action!

Very innovative and a cool solution to the problem of no 25th Eels.

Who is that custom next to Shipwreck on the boat?

Wow, more praise, it's nice to see! Much appreciated.

I'm guessing somebody else is going to make their own "sea troopers" or Eels or villainous divers of some variety and I'm very interested to see 'em. I'm hoping maybe Hasbro has some form of Cobra scubadivers up their sleeves before year's end (Shipwreck and forthcoming Torpedo need dastardly foils), and if not, maybe they'll see threads like this and get inspired.

Simple, yet awesome recipe that fills a much needed gap. I dig it. Awesome Topside too, btw. I like that look much more than the original figure.

There sooooooo bad that they don't get wet while in the water.
;-)

I was actually wondering why Hasbro hasn't done EELs 25 Ann yet. These are pretty swell good job.
