I know right? Who is this guy? You know I
did do my share of customizing back in the day. Before the tiktacks and instantgrahams. Anyway, here are a few that I've been tinkering with on this long holiday weekend. Unfortunately nothing Joe related but these were all within easy reach and simple to put together. Just WIPs for now until I get paints and stuff for them.
The first here is a simple stupid easy headswap that I spent entirely too much time on trying to decide on a head. Its the Star Wars TVC Snaggletooth with a cast head of one of the skiff guards I believe. He's got some tiny airbubbles that I'm going to leave as scars or something. He's a hunchback so nobody is expecting a pretty face. He'll be a waiter or something in my cantina.

Next up are a few of the dozen(?) or so Kuill figures I picked up from Amazon for cheap. Was playing around with them today and the idea of them being actual dwarves popped into my head. So I dug in the cast head bag and pulled out the Thorin from the Hobbit and Volstagg from the Thor movies heads and they were perfect. I had the third body out as well and grabbed onto this what I think is a Ra's al'Ghul head. Whatever, it looks good on the body. Won't be painting the bodies except for maybe details. I'm seeing them kinda like the Ugnaughts but prettier so they're either deck crew at a spaceport or some crewmen on a starship. We'll see.

This is another that is simple but took entirely too much time to find. The head is a Marvel Universe Chameleon on a TVC Lobot body with a BFS neck peg cuz I jacked up the Lobot peg. I'm planning to paint the head in a fleshtone so he looks more alien than as a guy in a mask. I think he'll fit in nicely with Lobot running my spaceport.

Joe the alien here was put together from inspiration I got a Disneyland the other day. Wandering around Pixar Pier at DCA the Toy Story aliens caught my attention. With thoughts bouncing around my head I came up with the idea that of an alien delivery pilot who looks kinda like the Toy Story aliens, like his species was the inspiration for them as corporate mascots in my space universe. I've had a Lightyear Armadillo sitting here for a bit and decided to paint it up as a delivery shuttle for him. I want to do a Pizza Planet logo but I need to get some artwork redone with aurebesh lettering instead of English. Parts are BFS minikit alien hands and head and TVC Fig'rin D'an.

And finally this lady. She's been in my WIP pile for, well long before the Pandemic at least. The head is a custom female rodian from Star Wars Geek and the body is BFS female orc basic figure with Advent Calendar arms and jacket. I'm planning to keep the torso bare but tack down the jacket over the nipples with a little glue. I see her as a badass spacer who doesn't take any crap from anybody. Still need to get a few accessories for her (gunbelt, etc) but to finally have decided on how to finish out the figure is a huge relief.

So there is my "once a year or two post of things I'll likely never finish or if I do I probably won't post" post. Hopefully I'll finish these off sooner than later. I have some other things in the hopper as well. Just need the time to work on and document them.
