What better way to compliment a Solid Snake custom than with one of his adversaries...or is that ally...

Image

Image

Body, legs, arms= Showdown Silver Surfer
Head= JFAK
Left hand= Showdown Dr. Doom
Right hand= Showdown Iron Man
Sword= Marauder of course ;)

I used a very small cylindrical file (pin file?) and etched the lines in the shoulders, hips, and legs. Then I Dremeled the pecs down a little and built them back up and added the lines. The rest is sculpting and painting.

See that? That's my crap in my hat because of this fig. I like this even more than the Snake fig, if that's possible. Damn son, I'm still trying to fake up that Cable fig you did off SS Thor, how am I ever supposed to catch up to copying your skills, man?

And here I thought Levevil's version would be the ulitmate 3 3/4" incarnation of this character. I saw the etching and sculpting on the torso and thought for sure this had to be a 6 inch custom. That is some insane work. Congratulations on fishing that bad boy and thanks for showing him off.

Very nice sculpting work! I'd have thought a microman body would've been the best choice, but the proportions and detail on this custom definitely blow that idea out of the water!

I am not a Metal Gear fan so I really have no idea wht this is supposed to look like, but I have to say that this is some fine work right here! I echo the sentiments of the others when they say that it looks like a 6" figure, really nice job!

Oh my god. Excellent work on the sculpting; the armor looks fantastic. Love that head, too; I didn't know it was available. This is one fine-looking custom; if only the MGS2 figures had looked like this (and been in this scale!).
