WIP Conan. Essentially he is done save for some painting on the bottoms of his boots, and I am awaiting a 1/144 masted ship to use the wheel as his symbol. I tried a 1/72 ship's wheel, from what I have here, but the symbol is a bit too large.
Anyhoo, Conan. I'll also have to get one of those sweet GTG Conan swords. The one he has is a placeholder.

I snipped the blade holders from the Liz Swan vest and adhered them to his waist piece, and put one of those sweet AOD daggers in them.

Niiiiice. Again, what did you use for the head? Did you mod the torso? It looks a bit more ripped and less pudgy that the stock Road Pig torso.

cool I was going to make one of him just wating on jfak or somebody to cast a good one like the arnie head from predetor going to use that to make a commando custom

The head is compliments of Dave Bekker's Good To Go. That sculpt is pure GOLD. The only thing I modded at all was the waist, which I adhered Liz Swan blade holders to, and his boots, which adorn the fur that was on the bottom of one of those Golden Compass dudes.

His torso just got the usual airbrush treatment, and surprisingly, the Sienna color I used was not too far from the flesh of the orange Sonic Road Pig.

Looks great so far. Love the boots (and the nipples, but don't tell anyone).
Is there a dio planned for this one, or is it just the dragon?

A small diostory perhaps. I have to make his companions first. I am looking into making Subotai, and a few females as well. One much like Red Sonja, and a few like the witchy woman in the cave.

Then of course, he'll need some arses to kick.

Been waiting to see this one--he came out great! I'm loving the overall proportioning (now that's the Conan I know from both books and film) and the head is very sweet. Oh, and consider that idea for the waist borrowed, you've just ended a weeks-long dilemma for me. :-)

From the post title I was expecting a Wizard custom but this is just as good. Very nice use of the GtG head and the parts work well together. And you should definitely get the GtG sword. Very awesome sculpt that will finish this guy off perfectly.

This is just AWESOME... I've been wanting to do a Conan figure for some time now, and your's tops anything I could've put together.
