Ok, this is a bit boring perhaps, but I have tons of Iceberg figures that I have begun repainting a bit.

I want more characters in arctic gear.

Image

- How do I move Icebergs hat over on other heads?
- Should I paint them in the same color scheme?
- Should I have it white like on the Snake Eyes or leave it like it is (a bit yellowed)?

I really like the blue-tones Iceberg. I'd like to see a closer pic of the fine details on him.

And Snake-Eyes is awesome.

Not digging Quick Kick so much, the karate head band looks weird with the rest of his garb.

As for names, how about:

Tavaris Jackson

Adrian Peterson

Chester Taylor

Visanth Shiacone

I think the only way to do that is to dremel them off and glue them on the heads using some green stuff (or other sculpting material) to fill in the gaps.

I'd definitely clean up the white by repainting it. And if you want them to be a sub-team, paint them in a similar camo scheme (like this year's con set for example)

Can't wait to see how these turn out. I LOVE arctic customs!

oops I missed your three questions at the bottom of the picture.

My thoughts - forget the iceberg hats - hold out for new removable Sno-Job hats coming out in a few weeks with the anniversary series.

Don't go with a single paint scheme because the grey scheme on snakeyes looks great for him, but the blue looks great for Iceberg, switch them around and neither would look right. So I say come up with four different but complimentary color shcemes.

I don't understand the "white" question.

The white on Snake Eyes is repainted, while the blue Iceberg has his original "white".

Yeah, Snake-Eyes is perfect. I'd go with his "white" pattern or use a very light gray for the others to mix it up a bit.

I haven't modded any ARAH heads, so I don't know how much more difficult they are than the new-sculpt stuff (that you can carve off in half a second with an Exacto knife.)

Looks really cool though - looking forward to seeing the rest!

Awesomeness...pure and simple... Totaly gonna copy that Snake Eyes...and I love that blue you used on Iceburg.

Iceburgh hat switching is a pretty complex surgury. 1st you'll need what is called a Razor Saw or Snap Saw...Exacto makes a nice one...should be able to be found at any hobby shop.

use the saw to split the top of Iceburg's hat from his head Syler style with the Razor Saw...Save the lower part of the head to use the neck ball in future customs.

Use a dremel to hollow out a little bit of space in the hat...enough so you creat a little bit of a lip at the edge.

Pick your recipient of the hat...modify their head the opposite manner of the Hat. Look at a Shipwreck or Lady Jaye sans hat if you need...it'll make things clearer.

Experiment...It's only an Iceburg head...they're far from rare....and watch your fingers.

That Snake-Eyes looks awesome!

Personally I'm not sold on the bright blues of the Iceberg one. Seems like it would be easy to spot by the enemy against a mostly white background.

Maybe if the blue was muted a bit?

Same style as the Snake-Eyes, but blue?
