I know it's been awhile since my teaser post, but now Tunnel Rat's all done! He's gotten an enthusiastic thumbs up from my friend (I couldn't let you all see the results before him, right?

) and so here he is:
The original 1987 figure:

And the 8 inch version:

Tunnel Rat's AlbumI'm kinda proud of this one, maybe even more than Scarlett. Not sure why! I was like a kid in a candy store every time I discovered the right piece of gear. There were some neat challenges to this one, too. Seems when I have a TR in hand, I'm usually making him into a girl...lol! For the gun I had to sculpt the stock because there was none. I had to find a way to make a circle of the bullet strip and the bag for some reason came without a strap. Took me a while to decide whether to use cloth or sculpt the bandanas. Glad I sculpted! And I had originally thought that with all this gear, some of it would have to be permanent. Absolutely all of it is removable.

This custom was also pretty experimental for me because it was the first time I'd dyed a figure and also used Future Floor Finish as a sealer. A little glossier than I'd choose, BUT absolute success as far as no stickiness and I'm guessing it's gonna be pretty durable. I plan to redo some of my kiddo's customs with this finish once I fix them.
