I nabbed one of those new Forces of Valor figures. I'm jazzed about the fact that he's more articulated than he looks and the fact that someone is finally doing some halfway decent modern figures. Still, he's got BBI level articulation and mine had all of his joints all tightened up by his paint. Everything wound up moving fine, but I knew the moment that I tried to turn it that his waist would tear and wouldn't you know it, it did tear right off. So, I went and fixed him up. He's much better now. I wish this was how the figures were designed to begin with. I used a PTE combat diver's waist and thighs to fix this guy up. He's fully playable to boot. I'm gonna be troop building these guys for sure now that I know they've got the potential to be good figures.

I think down the line, when that single packed 25th Duke comes out I'm going to try and make myself a realistic Duke using one of these guys as the base.

That looks great. I hope BBI goes with some more lower body articulation.
