I really dig your IGs. You kept the menace from the original and made it modern. I really like the head / helmet combo that really does this figure right.

When I started out to do my 'Draedknok' characters, I was going to introduce them in a team called the Bludd Pack. This team was, of course, lead by Captain Sebastian Bludd (not Major!). The idea was to do a B.C. Joe-verse. That's B.C. as in, Before Cobra!
The Bludd Pack were a group of Australian natives who were assassins and a demolition squad. The Commander of the 'unknown' shadow government (secretly known as Cobra) recruited Captain Bludd and his Bludd pack, and led the Cobra army to victory in Washington DC. It was in that battle that Captain Bludd earned his ranking of Major and became the high ranking field commander for Cobra infantry troops. Basically, it's the (my)story how Cobra rose to power.
But, I think I might fold on this idea.....lol. Although, I do have a Cpt. Bludd in the works (just needs paint), so that will be the exception. He just wont have a Bludd Pack now

Anyway, here are my Dreadknoks! (well, a start anyway :) )
First up....................

Road Pig
Road Pig
Road Pig

Road Pig

**One shot dio's**

Cynder block drop from up-top
You don't know the HALF!!

Road Pig's armor

He is only the first to come! I have WIP'd up, and will be done with in the next coming week (or two  ), Ripper, Torch, Monkeywrench, and Buzzer.
I also plan on WIP'n up Thrasher, Zanzabar, Zarana, Zandar, and possibly a Version 2 Zartan!

Thanks 4 looking!

I don't know. He looks a little too clean for a 'nok and he definitely looks too calm and sane for Road Pig. I used the same head for my RP so I think its more your style of customizing. I like your style but I'm not sure if the Dreadnoks will work with your sharp lines and uber-detailing. The dio shots were well done. I actually said "damn" out loud at the pic of Flint's guts strung out.

The shoulder pads are outstanding. I'm not sure how much kitbashing you did to get those but damn they look nice. I recognize part of V.Max's chest but thats about it. And nice work on the detailed cinder block hammer.

Yhea, I hear ya.......He is too clean for a 'nok, and its a bit distracting. I almost shadow washed him. Icamethisclose! lol. But, I'm glad I didnt, and decided to stay true to my original style. As I get more of the characters done, I'm hoping the theme of 'Dreadnok' and my style wont conflict in a group shot, or as a whole. With only one done, it is easy to single out. I'm almost done with Ripper, and I think with other characters to stand him next to, the less distracting the cleanliness will be......lol.

I thought it was imposable to get that silly looking Black Out head to appear pretty! HA! That's almost a compliment! But, I think I know why he looks so calm and sane............................
I forgot to add eye brows  LOL!!! Duhhhh :rotfl: I'll be fixing that later today!

Glad you got a thrill outta my one shot dio's! Thanks :) I had alot of fun putting those together! It's not too often I get the opportunity to kick back and play wit my customs :D So, that was alot of fun!

Now Ripper looks really sweet. Can't place that head for the life of me though. Nice work on this one. I really like the stripes on the shirt. I'm definitely swiping this recipe.

And about the Road Pig, I didn't even notice he was missing eyebrows until your pointed that out. Maybe with the right arching it could give him a meaner look. But after much contemplation I think its the white tank top and grey pants that give him a pleasant look. Maybe some darker colors are in order.

Both of your Dreadnoks are looking awesome. Love the idea for Road Pig's armor. I may have to borrow it. That Ripper is sweet. That's a great take on him. Looking forward to the rest of your Noks.

Really liking that neo-classic approach to Ripper.

He needs his canopener bayonet, though.

AVE - Thanks for the approval on Ripper! Glad you like :). The head is a T-Crotch Heavy Duty with sculpted hair. And RP.......I like him the way he is.......BUT, I gotta agree with you. LOL!! I'm gonna go with my original idea and shave off the sling shot shirt and rebuild his masculinity with some sculpt. Now I need another Major Barrage torso, cause I don't wanna chance it on the only one I have....LOL!

DOC - Glad you like my take on the 'noks! I look foreward to your version of RP.

Spin - I actually wanted to stray away from their original weaponry, with the exception of RP. He was my favorite nok as a kid and I cannot image him without his brick basher ! Ripper (my way) was to have a gatlin gun, but those little hands from the Torch arms would not hold the monster :-/ .
Also Spin, on my story (sorta) for the noks, I would love to hear your opinion and ideas on that approach! It would be greatly appreciated and valued! I need some advice from a Bludd professional :D!! Thanks!

Thank you for your comments guys! :D

Thanks for the complements guys! :D

As for Buzzers glasses.....I was going to use comic pack Baroness glasses, but I'm afraid my two year old son got ahold of those, and that boy puts everything in his mouth! Space monkey!!
And NO!! I will not be inspecting toilet samples to get them back!
Shame too. Those glasses fit the character really well :-/

Pertaining to Road Pig:
The little details like the tat, and the blood smear on the cinderblock make this figure so much above what hasbro puts out. I really dig it. As for the one shot dios, it was over the top gruesome, and I loved it!
