Well, for the updated SS, I broke down and used the Battle Pack head. I'm destined to never paint eyes well, so might as well have the thing look good. So a black-painted v1 head wtih factory-painted eyes and a soft-goods hoody and it's just fine.

Pluv - I know what you mean about Hawk. The head has had extensive flesh re-painting done to it while trying to get rid of the original camo paint. I think that jacked up the eyes and gave him that weird stare. About the only thing I'm really happy about with him is the camo pattern on the pants - He's gonna get a re-do this weekend.

shoooot, ya mean I'm NOT the only collector who's hoping [if they HAVE TO keep giving us variations on SS] that the '91 Ninja Force colors will make the cut? That exact deco or the '97 colors that took some inspiration from it are something they really should do (before they start just pulling new, random colors schemes from their asses).

Chief, your custom here proves that the NF colors will work on the 25A mold too. I like it!

Hawk kicks some ass too. It's a different look for him, one that really works nicely. Personally, I love the bomber jacket but I see your point... 's why my planned Hawk custom is going to have a removable one.

Nice work all around, but those two take the cake.


P.S. I agree 112% on the beret sucking ass as part of the uniform too. Ain't just impractical as head-gear in function but the constant need for adjustment (gods forbid such a manly piece of wool ever looks jacked up ) and it doesn't breath worth a "LASER BLAST".

Every one of these customs that I have seen by you is really awesome. The Flint is included in this list. I can live without the beret, because the res of him is so nicely executed and he captures the look of him nicely. That Stalker is very cool as well, an excellent job of capturing the look of the original.
