Looks great! Get him some medical accessories, and he'll be perfect.

If we ever get a Doc I hope he looks as good as this one. Great work.

Thanks, guys. Your comments have me blushing up a storm over here.

As AV pointed out, it is a Duke body, but with Gung Ho lower arms (I wanted to dye, rather than paint those, and doing up the upper arm bands in the same color as his fatigues created the rolled up sleeve look I wanted, anyway).

As for what kind of paint I'm using, it's Krylon Fusion flat camo (tan and green for his uniform) and some plain old Testors brown in very thin coats for the neck (seemed to take forever to dry, but matched the tan RIT dye job on the skin near perfectly).

And, as it happens, I do have a spare 25th anniversary Duke head, now... ;)

I'm wide open to suggestions on accessories. I think I have a Doc stretcher somewhere around here. What else does he need?

Thanks again for the feedback. Really makes all the effort seem worthwhile.

He needs a flare gun, of course. :-)

Since finding the original would probably be a bear, I'd suggest something like this: http://yojoe.com/access/94/73.jpg

(If you need one, let me know.)

Thanks, Doc.

You know, I just may have an accessory pack version of that flare mortar somewhere around here. I'll have to dig it out and paint it up before I submit this guy.

I love it! He really does look production quality. My only question is why's he holding a gun? Doc is a pacifist.

If you don't have the accessory pack version, let me know. I'm pretty sure I have on laying around here somewhere and I can't think of a better use for it. That's one awesome Doc custom.
