Fack

Damn you both for the good ideas and pictures. I've chosen to stay COD specific with regard to Mega Bloks product but that fallen regular body underneath looks nice. And I thought this BEFORE you mentioned Neo Sapiens and Merman.

I'm trying to hold off on buying new Mega Bloks product that isn't COD because I have little emotional attachment to tmnt , Halo or destiny and I KNOW mega bloks has something new coming out just around the corner

None of the properties have any real meaning to me, not even CoD, beyond being fodder for my Masterpiece-scale Joes and miscellaneous other lines in a compact form. Go on, give in to the dark side. Buy more MegaBloks. You know you want to.

MBs are the best action figure value on store shelves these days, and you're a masochist for resisting them, man.

Oh i know man...but Lanard is starting to chip away at my toy funds and bring me back , in a limited fashion at least, to 1:18th ( something i didnt think would happen).

I've got to spread the dollars around.

AND...i "know" Power Rangers and MOTU are coming.

That new figure set looks pretty neat and it's a nice way to get Soap and some other characters without buying a huge set.

I have no interest in any of the lines that are put out by Mega Blocks, but they are damn fun to buy and build. My desk at work has a full on battle scene with CoD, HALO, Assassin's Creed, Terminator, TMNT all in a huge battle over the time portal from Terminator. For their price point, these are some of the best toys out right now. These have replaced GI Joes for me

Anyone up for a trade? I have some boxed sets / MIB (ODST, Warthog, Covenant troops, etc). as well as some loose figures.

Couldn't agree more. I haven't played any of the games that Mega Bloks has lines based on but I love the figures from all of them.
The Halo scale lines (Halo, Star Trek, Terminator and TMNT) provide some great parts and ready made armies with vehicles and playsets to check all my Sci-Fi toy line boxes. Not only are the buildable vehicles and playsets easy to customize but the Halo line comes with clear and translucent figures I can use to make new Micronauts in the same scale and with the same articulation as the other figures in that scale.
The CoD scale lines (Call of Duty and Destiny) also have plenty of great parts and makes for a perfect modern to slightly futuristic "Army Men" line that also has buildable vehicles and playsets and as an added bonus they have Zombies. With a custom Destro leading them the Atlas troopers make for a great enemy army for a highly trained, special mission force to have to deal with.
I'm all for Mega adding Power Rangers and Masters of the Universe sets to the mix but I'm not sure those are going to happen. I would also like to see a Star Trek The Next Generation line soon so I can add The Borg to my Sci-Fi universe.

The last time a Mega Brands rep spoke on the issue they mentioned Powed Rangers receiving the articulation upgrade around the time the new Ranger movie is released (I don't follow PR but I think that's next year) . Those solidly colored bodies will be right up my alley with regard to customizing .

Motu. ..I'm less certain of that but I'm still optimistic after seeing the TMNT Rocksteady.

I cherry picked the tmnt line . I've cherry picked the HALO line (primarily due to scale). COD is the line that i actually seek out info on.

Mega is going to milk that Rocksteady mold for all it's worth and I am SO their huckleberry. Bring it on. If the human Rocksteady arms are muscular and Caucasian flesh tone (and not red or yellow ) MOTU fans should be happy.

Now just make brown arms so i can make clamp champ :shifty: .

I might grab that Michaelangelo with shades . I dig it.

Mike needs a boombox and some flattened cardboard so he can bust some fresh radical moves.

That latest Rocksteady is marvelous! Might have to pick up three just to have both human and mutant forms displayed, and the other to actually play with. :-)

It's the same Rocks as the 4pack with 3 Feets, aside from the cashbag and sword. Get that set for the playable then two of this one for display to get the max play value.
