You have a source on that?
Can we hope to see something before Toy Fair?

I've just been buying Mega Bloks stuff to use with my G.I. Joe Kre-O and Minimates. But after getting the Technodrome I had to get the rest of the classic TMNT figures. Thought I was done but then you show me that rock dude set, and the samurai Leo with Mousers set and dammit I'm collecting a whole new line you bastards

Oh and I picked up the Star Trek TOS crew after getting the bridge set for my Minimates. The other two sets with the rest of the crew were discounted on Amazon so I figure what the hell.

But that's it. No more of these Mega Bloks figures. Though I do have a plethora of Master Chiefs from the cryo chamber sets. And a few other Spartans and Marines from a couple other vehicle sets. So maybe I can... NO NO NO!!! NO MORE!!! *grumbles and searches Mega Bloks Halo on Amazon*

He-Man is coming

I have no official source but an online friend who is plugged in with official sources has consistently heard rumors and whispers (as recently as ...I want to say 72 hrs ago. I'll double check).

Personally I'm basing my opinion upon the new tooling investments over the last 12 months . Mega has slowly but surely increased their body parts catalogue with items that aren't going to benefit COD, HALO or TMNT (their cash cows) over the long run yet they still made them. Those two reasons combined have made my radar go off for months.

I'll be buying the MOTUC castle if this turns out to be a correct hunch.

Hellboy ...have their been rumors ? Does mattel have the rights ?

Indeed they do, and have already released the Hellboy Kubro, which is, essentially, a Pop figure made of bricks.

Curiously enough, they also have a He-Man & Skeletor.

Also, every other character in the Kubro line has or has had a Mega Bloks line... I'm no detective, but the clues are leading down a certain trail...

Ah...where is my head at ? I knew that ( about the Kubros). I should be stripped of my nerd credentials heh.

I've been hyper focused on vehicle builds for those *other* little action figures (which are still showing "pre order" status).

BTW...has anyone sen Star Trek in brick and mortar stores?

Got the CoD Icarus Troopers, Odin Space Station Strike, Dome Battle Station and Halo UNSC Firebase sets from Amazon today. Opened up the Icarus Troopers because its a small set that I could put together at my desk. Stupid silly fun. These won't take away from my other habits but the few so far I have should scratch the itch. Well these and the Halo NMPD Pelican Air Base I have coming from TRU.com. But that's it, no more. I'm serious.

Haven't seen any Star Trek Mega Bloks at all, and never saw the Terminator sets at retail (since it was a dud, I'm not surprised). My local stores are this close to a restock of brand-new product... they're marking down old stuff, so it's time to stock up on fodder...

Ah, yes, the Icarus troops.

They were my true gateway set to addiction, since they lend themselves to so much customizing... heehee

"Okay, no more!"

Famous last words

The Terminator stuff ended up being Amazon-only, which you'd think is also true of Trek but the Trek stuff is supposed to hit street retail any week now.

Have any of you worked with ABS sheet before and if so how does it compare to its common white styrene cousin? The customizing bug has hit again so i'm stocking up on vehicle building supplies.

Also have any of you heard rumors of a Star Trek Red Shirt pack?

A redshirt army builder pack would be great. I opened up my Guardian of Forever set last night and couldn't accept that the one black guy in the line so far was a redshirt. So I swapped his head and hands out onto a spare Sulu from one of my bridge sets and used the head and hands from a spare Spock to make the redshirt a Vulcan because honestly "LASER BLAST" those green-blooded bastards.

I need another couple of redshirt bodies though to fill out my bridge and transporter room. I have a good number of goldshirt guys now thanks to the extra Sulu figures from the bridge and Chekov from the Day of the Dove set. Same with the blueshirts. I'm lacking in the red though and the Guardian of Forever set is still regular price on Amazon. Until it drops I'll have to suffice with the 3 redshirts I have. Oh and multiple Uhuras. Anyone need an Uhura? I gots plenty.

:rotfl: That sounds like something I'd do.
I actually want a red shirt troop pack for the guy you mentioned. That head sculpt and flesh tone are hard to acquire at a decent price. Most of the COD figures have helmets , hats or some other face covering. HALO as well. The captain from the COD hovercraft was going to be my Jon Stewart Green Lantern if I ever got my hands on it .

An Uhura figure would come in handy . I need to look at that set again.

I was looking at CoD sets to see what non-hat/helmeted heads were available for both my Star Trek crew and for helmet off Spartans. Not a lot out there without headgear of some sort. Picked up the CoD set with the horse so I can use the bearded guy's head as a base for Rock 'n' Roll.

I revised my RnR to make him a v1 version and am using my modified v2 as Hollowpoint. I lucked out and got two bandoliers so was able to give him his crossed bullets.

So I thought I'd found a new source for some glasses less head. When I used to put together models, I used little green army men painted up for figures. I decided to try them as a source of heads, but the molds have degraded so far that they're barely recognizable at human shaped.

I then found some Lanard LGM styled figures at Walmart and bought them to try. Alas, they're slightly smaller than the LGMs. That, plus the stylized proportions of MB figures to begin with, makes for a pin head. Guess it's back to the drawing board.
