That's cool. I didn't think the Grunts were going to get updated based on their size but here they are. I would have preferred the Jackals or Hunters next for the upgrade as well but this makes me pretty sure their turn is coming eventually. Hunters built off that new Cabal body from the Destiny line would be nice.

On a different subject, is anyone aware of a gashapon/capsule Dragon Ball Z line where the heads are about the right size for the Halo scale Mega Bloks bodies?

Dollar General has "all brick toys" on sale buy one get one free for the days starting today. I got two Halo sets for $15 instead of the $30 it normally should be.

I got UNSC Victor squad and UNSC Fireteam Rhino, because they were the two with most customizing potential, but they had a few other sets available.

Marine Officer is now Stretcher. With no customising needed.

I'v always been more of a COD Mega Bloks guy than halo but that Atriox and the grunts are just...too unique not to purchase. In a world filled with cookie cutter archetypes and stale super heroes they are a nice diversion from the norm.

I love both the Halo and the CoD scales.
Select Halo sets and other lines that are in the Halo scale are great for my Sci-Fi wants while the CoD/Destiny lines are great for my near futuristic, cyberpunkish, zombie apocalypse world.
I do wish there were more translucent or clear figure parts and more(any) female characters in the CoD scale.

I got the Cabal Interceptor finished up last night, and may get pics up later today but probably not until tomorrow.

The hands are an easy enough fix though. Hope these start showing up soon. :)

Looks like ToyWiz actually has or had most of them in stock. I grabbed all 4 off Walmart.com.

Should have them sometime next week so I can post some pics maybe. :)

Here's a glimpse at what the human form Rocksteady looks like as well. Sweet.

Hope we get a second wave with at least Bebop and Splinter. Maybe feline April?

Here's the package shots of the other two even though there's no real surprises.

I need a few of those Baxter figures and a few of the Rocksteadys. Several custom ideas come to mind

As a long time action figure Customizer and joe / 18th scale fan how do you feel about the Interceptor and the fact that it is brick built?

The articulated gun arms are just over-convoluted frippery, imho. There's just no need for that much stuff to enable the ability to point the guns; but it's a ding against Bungie for designing it that way. MB do a decent enough job of brick-rendering it, but I stripped the arms off and moved the guns to the chin for a sleeker look Rocket prefers.

Bricks are fun enough to assemble, but the exposed studs will always ruin the reality of the finished item's look for me. There are a few designs that are cool enough to warrant to effort of upgrading them to 'reality', but I'm basically just here for the figures.

I NEED that Stockman for my MB TMNT collection, damn.

And I'm gonna need to stock up on that Rocksteady figure, too.

Also still need to pick up those new, larger mech suit Destiny dudes... my wallet's gonna hate me.

I've always had a soft spot for Donatello and the rock guys seem useful at a glance. In fact i believe they might be the first figures we've received with "muscle" legs (or quadriceps). Rocksteady muscle arms. A torso with abs . Detailed quadriceps.
