I see Keith Flint geared up for combat. Now we just need the rest of his Prodigy bandmates.

I was so caught up in the Iron Man style helmet that didn't stop to appreciate the green warlocks winged helmet . That's damned impressive . It's got an 80's vibe to it and you can never have enough helmets with smooth face shields .

That looks nothing like Ben Kingsley. :shifty:

Mega is making it really hard for me to be selective in my purchases. I try to only buy figures I see potential customs in, but a lot of these are just great as is.

The last two items are specifically sold to be customized, at least to the extent of swapping gear around.

Right, I meant painting and turning into Joes, MOTU, etc. These are the first I'll get and use as they are.

I've only gotten the one set, but I've been quite pleased with the Destiny line. Its colorfulness is a great counterpart to the Halo line, imho. I saw the guy packed with the Cabal Interceptor has a [LASER BLAST]' eaglehead hammer I'm gonna need. I told Jason he needs to make a similar weapon for his AWotK line next Spring.

I did one of a TR head on an MB body, lookin' all Chibi cute n' "LASER BLAST". That the one you mean? They're ridiculously too small for bashin' up any other way, imho. In bot mode they're the same height as the DiaDude on the previous page.

Do you mind taking a pic of 1 side by side in bot mode with a MB figure ? I don't really follow TF but I've always appreciated headmasters. When you named the figures you have from the titans line I checked them put and , yeah, I can understand the appeal. I'd like to see what I'd have to do to bring the heads up to spec that was different from the last time I did it .

The ..eh...Clobber (Grimlock ) head is kick ass .

It ain't bashing onto an MB, man. Bashing onto a DiaDude is your only hope, but I'm wondering how them birthin' hips may negatively affect the head mode.

I see a challenge . IF i come across a Titans Return bot for less than $14 USD i'll snag one and begin the process. Admittedly though this is going to be a major surgery. I wouldn't do it twice . MB parts only...ball hips , swivel hinge elbows with equivalent shoulders.

*That aside your picture has made me realize i've been"sleeping" with regard to the MB Donatello TMNT movie line. I forgot to pick one up. That's a good looking figure.

The OotS figures are the unsung heroes of the four TMNT lines, imho. I'm not a fan of the 80s toon as it was a couple years after my time (although I had a couple issues of the B&W comic and enjoyed them a lot) so the Classics line doesn't hit any of my nostalgia buttons. On a purely figure-quality basis the OotS figures are outstandingly good. I don't really dig the Classics thighs, while the OotSes have regular legs, a swivel waist, and a lot more gear.

Mind you, I've tweaked him from what you get in Donnie's li'l mini-box. I painted the pants black at the tops of the boots, is about what you can see in the pic above. I also drilled the sockets at top of either side of his backpack so his staff can be slid all the way through for storage. I tweaked the other three a bit more significantly.
