It's a no-brainer for them. No additional tooling/paint mask costs, minimal packaging change costs, nothing but profit.

I like this, but I don't like that it would seem that this will take up the next couple of waves - meaning other than the shown exclusives, (and wave 10) we might not see any *NEW* product in store for some time

Why would they re-release this? Do they not now that it is beg warming everywhere? Why not include Buzzer also?

Because it's Cobra Commander.

CC, Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes and Destro are all 25th staples, aka "core characters". That's why we have 11ty billion versions of them.

I can't believe that after all the complaining I've been hearing about distribution and not being able to find any of these figures, people are now going to complain about Hasbro making it easier.

I think the people who were quick enough to get ahold of these the first time should just thank their lucky stars that the distribution worked in their favor and save their money for something else. (Customizing their OWN wave eleven, perhaps?)

Meanwhile, people like me who have been unable to find just about any of these figs, since they disappear moments after they're put out on shelves, will buy 'em all up and make Hasbro some more money so the line can continue!

More HISS Drivers, excellent!

More Vipers...hmmm. Really, these things have been really easy to find. I have a feeling they will reach peg warmer status soon.

This is a great decision. For us and them. They're figures many people still want and like Stealth Viper said, simply profit for Hasbro. These are some figures I've had trouble finding. Especially the all black SE. I didn't want that figure at first, and then my friend bought it and I realized it looks a lot, lot cooler than the greyish one. I know many don't like the Viper, and I'm leaning that way myself, but I don't think they're easy to find everywhere and I think enough people love them to buy more of them. I haven't seen one since I bought the one I own.

So they listen to us except when they don't. :P

Yea, that's because there's a metric assload (Wookie sized) of Star Wars crap coming out over the next few months that they KNOW people are going to have a hard time affording.

Aside from keeping the big four in the loop (Duke, CC, SE, and SS), the only other reason I see for including that Cobra Commander is because he comes with the crystals, which is needed for the MASS device that's coming out soon.

I can definitely get behind this thinking. Besides the DVD packs and bigger vehicles, there isn't going to be too much cash of mine going into Joe, so hopefully, some way, I can afford the AT-TE.

At least from the packaging at TNI it looks like they're not making any fixes to the figs.

They actually re-issue "regular" Flint and they do NOT have him "arm-fixed"? Do they actually believe collectors will be wanting the original, Wave 1, exact, hard to find figure in its original, Duke-arm, form?

I know the answer, I just say it's hard to believe it this time, since they say they have the mold with the arms fixed now (I know, not in time for Falcon though) plus they had the "desert" Flint from the Ultimate Pack (from which he is removed now) in all his rolled-up sleeve glory. Anyway, I'm still thinking we'll get a fixed Flint with a brown shirt for a Cartoon Pack. There goes another chance of getting the black shirt one "factory-ready". Hmm, maybe in the Hall Of Fame version?...
