What the heck? Pretty sure Croc Master's inclusion on the desert set is a mistake. He wasn't in the boxed set shown at the Con.

Weird. I looked at the Con pics and indeed the arctic pack has 7 figs, while the desert only has 6.

Could be they just left the AVACrockmaster out at the Con...it's not the first time Hasbo has held back the ultra-lame items just so they aren't spoiled by mega fan rage.

Yeah, but the back of the box shown at the con had a picture of a second Crimson Guard, not Crocmaster.

I kinda like that Croc Master guy.

I can totally see him being one of Croc Master's elite guys.

While there was only one CG in the Desert pack at the Con, and only one on screen from the overhead projector, I remember Richard Woodhouse saying there were two at that same meeting. Maybe he was mistaken, maybe he wasnt. Maybe at one point there were two CGs in that pack and they took one out for ol' Crocky and then they took Crocky out and never put the CG back in. So there are three possibilities.

Crockmaster doesn't make sense and it's obviously a mistake, if you look at the packs, they're one named Cobra, and 6 troopers, why would one have 2 named guys and 5 troopers. Plus the back of the boxes at the con had all the characters on them and it was 1named-6 troopers...

So, I'm pretty sure someone at Hasbro is getting reamed for sending the wrong pictures right about now, and we'll see the new updated ones soon.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but just because that figure uses a lot of Croc-Master parts doesn't mean it's meant to be the Croc-Master. It could be some new troop type kind of like the "Roadblock Viper" in the arctic set or the "Barbecue Viper" in the desert set.

If Croc Master is a mistake, then why is he in light tan like the other desert figs?

Not arguing, just an observation.

Crocs are all over Egypt and Australia, both have loads of deserts.

instead of croc master or a cg why not another regular trooper, or viper or televiper?
