Going to the bar and watching nerds drink doesnt apeal to you? Hilarity ensues!
Not really. David puked all over himself and was sick the entire next day last year, and kinda put a damper on things. It was funny as hell while it was happening, and is funny to this day to tease him about. Overall there isn't too much appeal to me regarding bars.
The only reason that I went to the bar at last years was cause CabanaJack asked me to go shmooze with the Hasbro guys, which was cool. Then Mike from Hasbro got drunk and became quite the "LASER BLAST HOLE" and made some snide remarks to me so I made a final comment to him and ignored him the rest of the weekend when he tried to talk to me.
Being surrounded by drunk or soon to be drunken people isn't a good environment for a non-drinker

, it's more of an annoyance. And please don't take this as me trying to say that drinkers are bad, etc., it's just a personal preference with an explanation of why it doesn't appeal to me.
I really just enjoy sitting down talking. When Scramble and Kamakura stayed with me in NO, we stayed up all night for days on end, talking and talking and THAT was a total memory that I cherish and look back on as a really, really good time. While I'm still pals with Ryan, I talk to Kamakura several times a week as a result of that friendship that was built that weekend. I still value both of them very much as friends and that was based on the many hours we sat around getting to know one another....that's a good time to me and what I look forward to.
All of my memories of Atlanta were similiar. The puking after the hotel bar, and the near fight break out at the MOTH party are things I prefer to avoid.
