If my girlfriend saw that many of the same figure standing at formation like that, I would be immediately quizzed on how much money they each cost. She'd then multiply that by the number of figures and know exactly how angry to be.

That is my BAT army, and the day i set them up, My wife was at work (they were back in the box by the time she got home) i also have 185 cobra blueshirts, and the last time i set them up, she was not home. BUT, I was showing her some pics of our kids in slideshow format on the computer, and i forgot the pic i took of the blueshirts was on there. by the time the pic changed, she had counted 10 rows, and figured the rows were 10 long, so she was like "Those things are $7 each....that is at least $700......I dont even want to talk about it"...and I slept on the couch. I hope to find 40 of the Bat carded, so i have 200 even.....

BTW....My 12 year old was watching Inyuyasha he had recorded the night before, that is what was on the TV. I keep my Porn on the Computer monitor

I just don't get it. Sorry, but you can't do much but stand that many figures up in rows, which while cool, reminds me more of army men. Plus you have to zoom out to catch them all in one shot.

For diorama purposes and for some sake of realism some multiples are cool but it just seems anything over, i don't know 20, is, forgive the pun, overkill.

well, as a kid, i only had one of each, which SUCKED. Now i have the ability to get a HUGE army, so why not. They make me happy, and my son thinks that i am the COOLEST dad in the world that we have that many figures to play with....

I'm not even an army and I can't argue with that logic. It makes him happy. He shares the hobby with his family (despite his wife's dismay). The fact that it is crazy cool to see an overwhelming army of figures that haven't even been released yet is just icing on the cake.

If you think how many itterations of the blue shirts we got in the 1st 4 waves...I wouldn't worry too much about bankrupting yourself for BATs...unless you've gotta have them now, now NOW.

I'm sure they'll be released ad nauseum in single cards, cartoon packs, 6 packs and more.

You're right and they probably will do that but most likely not in their original v1 colours.

I do have faith though, the CG is almost over abundant and is nearlly at the level of "shelf warmer" here in Canada believe it or not. And I have seen good distribution with the Viper as well. Of course we've gotten every itteration of the blue-shirts they can possibly make too.

I'm a tad anxious because wave 9 has two very popular army builders and if I understand correctly, the BAT is packed 1-per case. Thanks to Storm we're 160 BATs short out of the factory

I'm anticipating a hunt-or-be-hunted atmosphere in the collector's market when these hit retail shelves in North America.
