I was reading the "New Sculpt Forgotten?" thread & it got me t' thinking of all the cool characters and new designs of classic characters in the new sculpt line. Who would you wanna see done in the new 25th style? My favorite all time new sculpt figure was the Cobra Coils. Cobra Coils with the Venom Cycle, both done up in his original Grey, or v2 Black, or v3 Red. I'd army build those guys. They'd look sweet in Cobra Blue. Ripper was a good update but I cut off his hat & sculpted on a bandanna for him. The Stall family characters are cool. Bombstrike is a great looking figure. Burnout is a cool new addition to the 'Noks. Shipwreck looked cool too, but they'd have to give him long sleeves. On a side note: Are they ever gonna release the Falcon figure that was announced? |

While i consider New Sculpt to be the "low man on the pole", there are a few i would like to see in the 25th. Bombstrike Sand Viper Electric Eel (preferably v.1) Desert Cobra CLAWS/Neurotoxin/Sand Scorpion Snake Eyes v.23 (and i've been sick of the character since '02) Of course, NONE of these should get billing over something created during '82-'94. |

For me, I'd like to see the newly introduced characters such as the Stall siblings; Dart; Hacker, Widescope; Redspot; and yes, even Big Brawler. I'd also like to see the wave 5/Spy Troops wave 1 designs of Torpedo, Tunnel Rat, Recondo (with hat & mustache), etc. - JM |

No, I don't want to see any new sculpt characters released in the 25A format. In fact, I don't want to see any other ARAH characters released other than what we've seen. There are only four figures Hasbro needs to make for the 25A format: Duke, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Cobra Commander. They haven't made enough versions of those four. Maybe they could make some versions of them that are so close too each other that it's hard to tell the difference between them but still expect collectors to plop down hard-earned cash. Yes, there are lots of good NS characters that deserve a turn through the magical 25A machine. Naturally, Zap and Short-Fuze need to get put through first. After those two, bring on the NS characters followed by NEW CHARACTERS!!! |

Swamp Rat, Sand Viper, and Black Out would be awesome, welcome additions to my 25th collection-- cool characters with great visuals that I would definitely buy multiples of, but I agree with Konigstiger that '82-'94 should be the priority first. I need my Tunnel Rat and Hit & Run! |

Absolutely. If we can't get NEW characters, then I'd like to see something outside the scope of 82-85 The Stall family would be a good place to start. |

Sand Vipers would be cool to have, could get some nice repaints out of it and I'm sure there are plenty of parts that could be reused for other figures later. Wouldn't mind seeing Ghost Bear either, was a nice idea for someone gunning for Snake Eyes that wasn't another ninja. Of course the Stall family. Hope they reuse some parts like Zap's helmet. Maybe throw in Scaple as well so we could get some Medi-Vipers out of the mold. |

The only new sculpt stuff I'd want would be the makings of a "Next Generation" cast, since the classic 25th Team is to 80s to be taking on proteges. So for me, Kamakura, Barrel Roll, and Firewall would make a great central trio... the new Snake-Eyes, Stalker and Scarlett, if you will. All three got great, well-rounded characterization between the DDP comics and Hasbro media. All the other new sculpt characters were obvious replacements for better characters that we *are* getting in the 25th line. Other new-era characters that worked: Lt. Stone, Hi-Tech, Long Range (Sigma Design), Bombstrike (she's popular, even if she makes the Stall family a little more cumbersome), Cobra characters are limited to Blackout, Scalpel, and Overkill (who's technically a vintage character, but his new sculpt design was sooooo much better. Maybe add the opening chest cavity gimmick to the new design for an homage.) I'd still love to see a Dr. Knox, in her DDP gear, and Zanya is a promised figure I wish Hasbro would make good on. I'd also much rather get a Vvv Mindbender (in purple) than the original figure design. |

Barrel Roll, Bombstrike, Blackout. The one crop of new characters that really felt like Hasbro was trying to advance the story. Blackout can't be as clunky, no monkey arms, please, Hasbro. Kamakura is fine, as far as ninjas go. I do like the new Jinx design. Not as butch looking. Give her cloth to give her a better range of motion, though. Agent Faces is an easy one, put him on a CG body. I never liked him running around with a gold cobra symbol. Long Range needs his coat and a sniper rife. Hi-Tech needs to be his S6 design, with his robot. Lt. Stone is a MUST! Hasbro is missing the boat on him. I dream of Hasbro releasing Overkill in a jar. I know it won't happen, though. Zanya, yeah, another figure that will never be made. Ho hum. |
