My Customs Were STOLEN !

Mods please move this thread to wherever you think it would do the most good.

Yesterday at the PA Picnic I had 2 action figure cases full of my customs stolen out of my car. I know it was none of our fine gentleman who attended the picnic, I want to make that VERY clear.
Sometime during the course of the otherwise wonderful day roughly 50 of my custom figures were stolen from my car out in the parking lot by some scumbag.

I suppose I should have put my windows up and locked the car up, but honestly it never occured to me that somebody would steal such things out of my vehicle. It is my own nieve fault for thinking so, and my own lazy fault for not going back and unloading the rest of my stuff.

Anyway I post this for all to keep a watch out on trade lists and E-bay for customs. If I sell a custom on e-bay it is under ranger_jer.
If you come across one or all of my customs in a trade or auction please let me know so I can take appropriate actions.

Some of these are shown on the JoeCustoms website some are available in my photo-bucket account.... please keep an eye out guys ! I am particularly sad to lose Col. Ironhorse, and my urban Joes, as well as my A-team custom figs..as I was offered big money for them on different occassions and turned it down...now I have neither the figures or the money...only a nagging sensation for retribution.

That really sucks man. I had the same exact thing happen to my baseball card collection when I was a kid. It was stolen out of my parent's car.

I will keep an eye out on ebay. I am sure everyone will.

Wow, that's horrible. You obviously put a lot of work into your customs. I can't imagine having so many of my customs taken all at once.

Let us know if you need help rebuilding...I'm sure everyone here has some fodder they could spare.

Man, that suxxors!

Last year (actually a year ago this Saturday) I had the pleasure of meeting PoetFlint and spending almost a hour or so discussing our approaches to customs, GIJOE, and doing some trading.

He brought along his customs and I took my floorplans for my Dreadnok Roadhouse, filecards, and other stuff.

I had the honor of checking out these customs and now I am saddened that someone would do something this criminal.

What really sucks is that some shlub probably thought they were of value because they were in cases, and when whom ever stole them realizes that they're customs and not collectibles they're likely to just throw them away.

My wife's limited edition "choco-cat" bag got stolen from her car a year ago - they bashed out the window to get it, they must have thought it was a purse, but there was nothing of value in it. But what sucked was our personal connection with the bag (she'd carried it for years) and that as a niche "collectible" it was irreplacable yet worthless to a generic thief - chances are it was pitched in a nearby dumpster.

Sucks man, but if they show up on eBay - let one of us "buy" them and once we get the sellers address we'll get even. Unless it was just kids - some tweens who thought they'd be fun to play with.
