To buy the Convention exclusives like the Jet Pack troopers, Steel Brigade etc? I really want the Joe 3-pack this year, but I can't seem to remember if you have to be a member or not.

Yep, they up the price for non members to include a 1 year membership into the price, for basically anything you buy from the Club.

Not true. While they do that for the con set, most of the smaller stuff is not that much more expensive. Steel Brigade 3 pack is $60 for member, $74 for non-member. More expensive, but not $42 more expensive. Any con souvenirs can be bought at the show by anyone for the regular price.
