Lots of folks have been looking forward to this wave, even without a whole lot of new characters to choose from. Well, in my opinion, it was worth the wait!

Fred from JBL and I have conspired on another round of our joint reviews, this time hosted at the Generals Joes Comic Pack Reviews page.

Yea, the second thing I thought when I saw that Firefly was "That's Shockwave", that vest looks like it was intended for him from the get go. The first thing I thought was "Holy crap that's awesome"

The third thing I thought was "What the crap? How are these actually here in a store in MY area?"

Oh, and also -

That's pretty awesome.

And Copperhead is the greatest thing ever.

The FF & SS pack is the coolest and playable pack i saw! it has lots of possibilities.

Is it just me ore does Red Star kinda look a little bit like John Wayne with out that russian cap?

i wonder how those red star boots would look on a major bludd custom...

edit: is it just me or does the factory have bad instructions for how to put in Gung Ho's right arm? i haven't gotten this comic pack yet (was preordered from BBTS and went into pile of loot) but i do remember having to adjust the right arm of the one i got from the 5pack to get it to look better.

In the storm shadow pictures you can tell it's in backwards based off of how the muscle sculpts are (with the right triceps facing forward and the longer part of the shoulder muscle pointing inside whereas it should be on the outside like with the left arm).

I think the Storm Shadow figure in the photos has correct arms. The right arm is just rotated and flipped so that the triceps are facing front. This happens alot with the new style figures. Just rotate the shoulder 180 degrees (arm pointing upwards) the flip the arm down.

yea, that's what i meant. it's just that gung ho's arm came like that too. like they didn't know the right way to put it on at the factory lol.

Man, you guys are flying through these things!

That FF/SS pack is just about the coolest thing ever. I cannot wait to get my hands on it. I love that the Spytroops look of Tunnel Rat actually comes off looking pretty cool when it's drawn but the figure itself is just awful. I like to pretend him being in the comic means there's a shot at getting a figure. It makes me feel better.

For the most part, the other figures look pretty cool too. Except Duke. He never looks cool.
