i would imagine that the efforts put into the maulers last year wont be simply thrown out. i imagine they would use what tooling they have ready to roll, and finish producing the missing parts.

there is no way they would simply throw out the $ they invested last year!

didn't put no money in it though. That was MC. So how would they throw $ out if they didn't put any in it to begin with? That or :hasbro:

heard too many people complaining about not getting it and are trying to make the fans happy.

Wonder if the Rattler is going to be the plane or the jeep? It would make sense to re-paint the new VAMP as a Rattler (similar to the TRU exclusive w/Vypra), but if they're thinking they can use the old Rattler plane mold for 25A figs, they must be gnuts.

I dont know for certain what role, if any Hasbro plays in paying for MCs stuff.

In any case, I bet they wouldn't have any problems getting access to those molds if they were in fact abandoned by MC.

Now that is funny! If Hasbro brings back the Mauler (which they should) it would bring back the pain that MC endured and put us through. That is pretty funny.

As far as the money that MC put into it, it was just for the bogey wheel and 1 other small part as I understand it. The broken turret is going to have to be re-created by Hasbro if they do in fact make the Mauler. But they have already resculpted a few older vehicles so I really so see this as a big deal for them.

how will a 25th figure fit in a mauler unless they retooled the whole thing to fit?
I can barely squeeze most post 87 arah figures in there.

I hope it's the jet. A slight re-tool of the seat would make it great for 25th figures, and it works surprisingly well as-is. I can get 25th Troopers into the turret no problems (they fit better than some ARAH figures) and Wild Weasel fits into the cockpit. Snugly, but he fits.

I'd actually pass on it if it were the jet, but I'd grab the jeep.

I recently bought and customized the A-10 that was widely available at TRU and, even though it doesn't have the VTOL, it looks hella cool in Cobra blue with some replacement decals. 25th Wild Weasel looks right at home in it.

Quite excited about the rest of that lineup, if true. I might even bulk up my Trooper army.

Y'know what would be AWESOME? If Hasbro repainted the Mauler in blue as the Shredder and released it for $20 at retail.
