http://gijoeclub.com/conventions/dallas ... review.cfm Using parts of v.1, v.2, and Overkill... looks GREAT, and I'm not usually a B.A.T. fan at all. Justin |

Not too bad. Having the original accessories takes it from a B figure to a solid B+. It's not superior to the original BAT, but it is a strong design and works well considering that they, for whatever reason, didn't use the entire V1 mold. The bulk of the design expense for this set certainly went into this figure, so that helps make up for the less intricate and poorly accessoried other figures. I'm still not sold on the set as a whole in terms of actually spending the money. But, this figure certainly makes me want the set more than it does the opposite. |

Looks like they compromised nicely on the chest decal. Not holographic from what I can tell but still just as detailed and nicely done. And I agree with the comment in the filecard... why do B.A.T.s have pants? |

Cool. I like it. Even though it is weird that the V1 BATs wear pants, I wish they wouldve used those legs instead. But overall I am happy with it and not kicking myself for ordering the boxed and bagged sets 2 months ago. And I dig the hologram (if it is a hologram) in the cheat, it looks sweet!! |

Loved the colours, love the accessories, torn on the body. The arms and legs look like it's a prototype or economic BAT, which don't go well with the super smooth torso. Also, the head looks huge on that body. I think it's okay. |

OK, I feel a lot better about this. I'm a big fan of Overkill v.1. I loved the design of t3he figure when it came out. Even though this is just the head and forearms of the original BAT they are the most identifiable parts along with his accessories. The rest of it works. |

Here I thought I was going to resell my bag set - nope I'll be keeping those BATS. Is Hotwire a new character they will introduce? Or is that from the new comic lineage? -CJack |

I love the colors and original parts. I'm just wondering why they didn't use the v1 waist & legs. They were used repeatedly for all of those Viper repaints |

I could see him coming with that Mech thats shadowed over Gristle a while back.

Seeing the swappable hands I'm a lot more enthusiatic about this set than I was before...At first I wasn't sure about the Overkill legs and upper arms...but then it grew on me a bit more and then I was looking at my collection... ![]() I really can't [LASER BLAST] about the use of those parts. I think the colors match the intended purpose of the BATs and overall that works for me...Not a huge fan of the V2 torso...but If the V1 wasn't available...I think it's a better choice than Overkill's or any other one i can think of. Edit...and BAT's wear pants because it's made of a Kevlar weave...A grenade will still take out a BAT's legs...but small arms or sand and dust from various battle fields won't keep a BAT from walking forward. |
