Just came back from the Canadian Joe Meet, nice experience - if you were hunting for vintage figs you'd have been in heaven, the 25A stuff was a little scarce but I did manage to get a few "wants" crossed off my list.

Larry Hama was very cool and was happy to sign my vintage MOCs of my first three joes. Hasbro Canada displayed the upcoming 2008 wave 5 (overall wave 9 I think) and it's official, this is the best Bazooka ever made! He's freakin' HUGE - sculpt is definitely bigger than Roadblock with a large barrel chest, massive arms, and his backpack is big enough to justify carrying those missile shells. They really represented Bazooka well in the 25A line. Yeah there were a few Bazooka-haters in the crowd, but hell, this fan appreciated his G.I. Joe hero for sure!

Mod edit: Changed the title to better reflect the topic, but that is THE best Bazooka evah!

Wow. Bazooka and Hawk look fan-fing-tastic. Thanks for the pics, Bandy!

I hope someone who went to the Canadian con is going to put up a full gallery... I'd love to see some more shots of Hawk and BBQ. Awesome.

no problem - oh yeah I got my @$$ handed to me by some kid in the PS2 Wrestling Tourney - Sgt. Slaughter (the kid) won by count out against Bazooka (me) in the first round - cuz I didn't know how to get back into the ring :lol:

Anyways, all I can say is after comparing the figures we got in 2007, these upcoming figures in 2008 are vastly improved in all aspects - it's a great time to be a fan.

Yup, Bazooka found Jose Canseco's roid stash. :shifty: Personally, I love the look. This figure could be easily used for The Fridge down the road.

It was a GREAT day! Some great news from Hasbro for us Canucks, and Mark Bellomo and Larry Hama were fantastic gentlemen to meet and talk with in person.

That wave does look sweet. Barbecue is awesome, and I'm reconsidering deciding to avoid the Snow Serps.
