Post subject:  Target SCORE! Star Wars and G.I.Joe!
Went to a Target this morning -- came away poorer financially, but better off toy-wise. Found ALL SIX of the new Order 66 Star Wars sets (I think they'd just been unloaded, there was a Hasbro box sitting to one side of the register end cap), and the new G.I.Joe vehicles as well!

Blew the toy budget for the month, but I'm pleased to have these.

And dang, that's an ugly Palpatine in that one Order 66 set... 8-O

And here I assumed you'd met a lady and got lucky at a Target.

What're you're thoughts on the GIJOE items?

The vehicles are excellent, although I do worry a little about the way the AWE-Striker's antennae are packaged. The HISS is a good color, and I'm pleased that they didn't stink it up with any sort of weathering or "dirt" paint the last time the HISS appeared in a similar color (the HISS III). The Night Specter is an interesting new incarnation of the SHARC, which has probably seen more incarnations and name changes than any other vehicle in the line that I can think of offhand.

As you know, I haven't been collecting the 25th Anniversary figures. I DO like the uniform color scheme on the Cobra trooper that comes with the HISS tank, and wouldn't mind at all seeing it applied to a traditional-stye Cobra, but I expect these vehicles will be for the use of my established collection. And at ten bucks, they were a bargain.
