Picnic season is quickly approaching and based on the request of several regular attendees, I've initiated a poll to determine which date would be favorable to the maximum number of possible attendees. Since previous posts narrowed the range from mid-May to mid-June, I've included every Saturday falling within this date range.

Please vote for all dates on which you could attend (i.e., please don't pick only one date, unless you are only available on that one Saturday).

After consulting with beav, I've learned that we unfortunately do not have the option to see on the poll itself which member voted for any particular date. Therefore, after you've voted in the poll, please post your available dates in this thread. I know that by posting your availability in this thread, it practically defeats the purpose of a poll setup, but this information was critical last year in determining the dates that the most number of regular attendees could participate.

I will keep the poll open for 2 weeks, so please vote in a timely manner.

As of now I am available every date EXCEPT the 24th and the 31st. And the 31st might be a go depending...

With the poll halfway over, I've noticed that there are more votes than there are posts. As a reminder, please post your availability when you cast your votes.

All are theoretically good except the seventh for me :/. Do not let that be a deciding factor though, as I may be able to push the prior commitment up a weekend. Also I just had a lot thrown at me this week, so until the smoke clears I am not going to be able to get a solid plan. I had wanted to do the camping thing with the family at Rickets Glenn, but am not sure if the vehicles are going to make the trip . As I know more I'll post it up.

I am hoping that you'll be able to move up your prior commitment on June 7th, because as of this morning, June 7th is the leading choice. However, the poll is still open for another 2 days, so you never know.

There were 9 votes (including Rob); however, only 5 people actually posted their votes: Apacolypse, Blitzkrieg, PoetFlint, Millsy, Rob. So, as long as these 5 people agree that June 7th should be the date, we can then lock in June 7th as our official date for the next PA JoeCustoms picnic.

Apacolypse, you and I have just confirmed our choice of June 7th. We just need to wait for PoetFlint and Millsy to respond (and Millsy on Rob's behalf). After we've locked in an official date, we can start a new planning thread that has the date in the title, to bring the date to other people's (i.e., other potential attendees') attention.

You may as well get my vote for it, I may have to work that day, hopefully not but there is a slim chance as there is every weekend from here through the end of June ... but I vote June 7th.
