OK, we know that these 25th figures have torso revisions in the mix: Beach-Head, Firefly, Stalker, Col. Hawk, Snake Eyes (all versions except V2), Torch (uses Gung-Ho mold).

Some have asked why the Duke torso hasn't gotten the fix.

Apparently it will:

http://www.generalsjoes.com/images/ToyF ... t1_JPG.htm

In the foreground you see TF Flint with adjusted hip sockets. In the background you see Maj. Bludd with fixed Zartan hip sockets.

To the right you see a not-fixed Python trooper.

So it looks like Hasbro will have fixed all the molds except Cobra Commander, Scarlett, and Cobra Trooper by the time summer rolls around.

The bad news is that the TRU exclusives use the unfixed Duke torso (for Duke and Gen. Hawk). It also appears that Jetpack Duke will not be using the revised torso.

Well this is good, if long delayed news. Now the question is will there ever be regular Flints and Dukes coming?

That's a great question. I think a lot of people (myself included) are hoping for a release of Flint with the new TF arms, but in V1 colors.

I think that'd be a great case-filler release for later this year. We'll just have to see if Hasbro has the same thought.

It would be nice to have a Flint that you didn't have to dremel the arms so that he can hold his Spas-12.
And I really have no use for a TF Flint.

I'd say this is pretty likely in one of the DVD sets actually. He was pretty ubiquitous on the cartoon, so I bet they'll work him in. Maybe in the "fan favorites" set? Regardless, it's a no brainer move for Hasbro since everyone will buy one if they make it. But then I've said the same thing about Starduster, so I could be wrong.

Anyway, glad to see them getting close to caught up on the crotches, and I hope that since they're making new molds they add in the side to side torso movement as well.

They trick there is that cartoon Flint's colours did not match v1. He had a brown shirt similar to TF Flint without the stripes, and brown and green camouflodge pants. Personally, I agree there's a good chance Flint shows up in a DVD set. V1 colours with TF Flint arms might have to wait for a single pack.

Exactly, Scramble. If Hasbro makes a cartoon-colored Flint, I'd buy. I'm a Flint fan-boy. But I'd rather see a V1 Flint with the new arms released on a single card. That way the MOC guys who missed Flint the first time and the sticklers who wanted him in his short-sleeves can all be pleased.

Those of us who just want a poseable Flint are also happy.

You know, there IS an Internet-only Wave due for April, which includes several re-offerings, including Flint. Maybe it's time for crossing fingers? (original colours, rolled sleeves):
