So last week, I stop by TRU on the way home from work and pick up BBI's 1:18 F6F Hellcat, as this TRU is the only one I've been to recently that had it. Get it home, start to assemble it, and I notice...it has two left flaps.
So, I returned it to TRU to exchange it for the other Hellcat they had. Exchanges are a rare thing for me these days, so...true to form...I didn't look closely at the replacement. Got it home, and noticed as I just started to pull the parts out of the box...it had no nose cowl.
So if you're picking up BBI aircraft fresh off the shelf these days, be wary and look your purchase over closely, lest you end up like me. Knew I should have just ordered from Smalljoes in the first place...
