As a 25A MOC collector of the single-carded figures, the only time I get to enjoy the "true" functionality of these action figures is either when they come as duplicates in the box set or as comic pack figs and I just got my shipment for Comic Pack wave 3 & 4 in yesterday.

Right off the bat - Wild Weasle rocks! Never liked the toy in the 80s, never liked the character, and never got to appreciate the mold because my 25A Snow Job is incased in plastic - but holy cow Wild Weasle is flawless! Love the detachable visor, all the fine details on his jump suit, awesome mold!

The Crimson Twins - what can I say, I've still got them MOC because...well that's how they came in the 80s right? I'm waiting on the loose set I bought from bucky to officially enjoy how cool these guys look. And from what I can tell from looking at them in the package - they wont disappoint.

Another suprise mold in the lot for me was the battle damaged Snake Eyes. Yes we've had lots of SE since the series started and yes this mold (at least the majority of it) has been done to death already, but for some odd reason I'm really digging this one and I dont know why. Maybe it's how he was positioned in the packaging because when he got pulled out and I put him on display, his pose just looked so bad ass. I haven't read the comic yet - any ideas on why his satchel has a Cobra logo this time?

The not-so-stellar List

Scarface - blah, this is another mold that needs to die now, tired of seeing this cobra troops.
Fred - got my loose CG army already, all I really needed was Fred's head so if ever I get a loose Battle Armor CC I can do the infamous switch.

Storm Shadow - they did an amazing job on the cowl/cape but the weapons are too freaky

Ace - huge disappointment, it's not just his goofy head, or his extra long torso, it's his short stubby arms that barely fall to his waistline - humans dont look like that. It's more of a disappointment for me because I am really looking forward to Wild Bill and I hope they corrected the tooling issues around this mold.

pics coming as soon as I get my loose twins - for full effect :)

Well, Ace's arms aren't stubby, it's that his torso is too long. Shortening the torso makes him look a lot better.

yeah you're right, the arms are standard length - Anyone at the Toy Faire recently can comment on Wild Bill's torso in-person? I hope it's shorter.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like anythings been changed for Bill. I assume this is production level . .

and he's not any shorter in the torso than Ace. I just took a saw to Ace's waist and cut of maybe an eighth of an inch. Looks much better. Looks like I'll be doing the same to Bill and the customs I have planned using that body.
