The 25th Anniversary of Gi Joe was 2007, and now that we are in 2008, what will the 25th anniversary sculpt be called after the end of their 26th anniversary? Will it get a name like Sigma Scale, which is used for 8 inch?

As long as we keep getting cool figures, I don't care what the line is called. :-D

They are called 25th Sculpt. Since thats when they started that sculpt of them. Not 25th Anniversary Sculpt but just 25th Sculpt. ;)

I agree, just go with 25th sculpt or 25th style. Besides, from some of the pictures of packaged toys I've seen, Hasbro's leaving the 25th Anniversary logo on the packages, so why not? They probably figure they might as well keep it in place until the movie next year.

You talking officially on Hasbro products or here amongst us geeks? I don't think Hasbro's gonna take the logo off until the movie stuff hits. The actual year of production is irrelevant since the *product line* was initiated in celebration of the 25th Anniversary. I believe the SW line is still issuing 30th Anniversary stuff.

Here amongst us guys, you're not gonna see any more verbiage out of me about naming these figs than '25A'. I dunno why everyone else feels a need to go all '

with it. To my eyes, there's 3.5 eras in 18th Joe history, RAH, RAHC (or RAH II), JvC, and 25A. The entire point of abbreviations is to get your point across using as few characters as possible while clearly indicating your point. '25A' best succeeds at that, imho.

But it's the 25th anny of the second year of Joe product. So the '08 Joe stuff is still 25th, just of the '83 line :-D .
