The anticipation is killing me! Especially as it seems that Hasbro is missing the mark weapons wise. So can you give us any previews?

I'm not Marauder John, but here's what is known about wave 5:

"Modular" type weapons, more "modular" accessories that will work with the new weapons and also work with the original "modular" M4. ALL of the candidates came FROM suggestions & requests from the fans. Nice mix of modern, WWII, edged weapons & Sci-fi.

Includes but not limited to: a FN-Scar, a Multi-shot Grenade Launcher, Robocop Auto-9, 4 new scopes (holographic sight and a magnifier), and a little birdie told me there would be a ninja style weapon too.

The target avail date for Series #5 is May of 2008

I heard a rumour about a modular sniper rifle.
I'm hoping for retro sci-fi guns

I'm more excited over the next wave of marauder weapons than I am over the next 25th wave.

I gotta say I have mixed feelings about the modular stuff. They're a pain in the but to setup (gots big fingers) but they look awesome once they're in. And I have to say the M16 mags look better in the Mod M4 than the mags that come with it.
I hope he makes a carry handle accessory for the Mod M4, because the original MJ M4 looks too small when compared with the later M4s & M16s.

Appreciate the enthusiasm! Also, thanks for the nice Series #5 info recap!

Hope to have the final reduced prototypes in-hand in a few days (they are over 3 week late already). Will post images of the items AND the final list when they arrive. Have held off releasing the "final" list to avoid any specific item issues resulting from any last minute problems. Pushed the engineering envelope with the detail & features on this series. There are about half as many items in Series #5 as in Series #4...BUT, due to the compexity involved in the items, the engineering cost are HIGHER for the smaller Series #5. 8-O

Hey John like everyone am looking forward to seeing what's in this next series especially as the hinted at items sound so cool!

WOW the tooling cost more?! 8-O I would hate to think how much you have invested but know i can guarentee you a few sales to me for whatever you have done :-D

Keep Up the good work John I know you and your team work really hard to produce such cool stuff and it is really appreciated!

Is there still an active thread about what items you would like to see from Maurader John?

I really want to get some nice medievil (I hope my spelling isnt bad like normal) weapons. I love axes and the like.

Oh well I will wait and see if there is a thread about putting wants first.

great news!

My only question is are you ordering more Powerteam elite products to sell alongside your guns? I am eagerly awaiting an expansion on the figures.

Don't think there's a wave 6 want list yet. Check http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/gall ... 08/unimax/ there's knights and lots of other figs there that are supposed to be coming out here sometime. Also check viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5680 and viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6598 as LG on that thread actually works for Ages of Action and keeps us updated there. ;-)
