Half way through the “Last Panel” a few people let me know that my name had been called (and butchered aloud) for a raffle prize. I left the panel and dropped off the prize at the table. Everyone on the sales floor was already talking about the figures “all over the internet” just shown moments before. So sorry for being late on this one. If this is the first you are hearing about it, the Club has a few more releases tentatively scheduled before the end of the year when their license is set to expire. Brian said the factory says they can do it, but it wouldn’t surprise me if orders went up this year and they mailed everything out later. ![]() First, the isolated items, not FSS and not the two packs. A Night Stalkers army builder single figure with multiple heads. I actually like this better than Hasbro’s release of the female blue shirt. Attachment: Next is Ninja Force Zartan and his trike. This will be released exactly like Heartwrencher and the Ground Assault Stinger. Zartan is cool enough and he fills a void. I’ve seen customs use that Retaliation Joe trooper head plenty so it isn’t jarring. Doesn’t look like they put a ton of detail on the bike as far as paint apps but I expect that to be better in hands then the early mock up. Attachment: So now what has been dubbed the “Final Twelve”. These would have been another round of FSS but timing made the logistics impossible. So instead the figures will be offered as two packs. Attachment: Marauders BBQ and Low Light. Probably the overall weakest offering but considering this year’s con theme they are better ARAH representations than Hasbro’s offering in the 7 pack. Attachment: Attachment: AT guy versus new fan created villian Coils O’Doom. O’Doom sports the BossFight designed and sculpted Cesspool head. And while the Black Spider Rendevous has that retro inspiration, I really like how modern he looks. Attachment: Attachment: Sonic Fighters Dodger vs Viper, I was never a fan of the originals but they got a big cheer so people are excited for them. Attachment: Attachment: Falcon and Road Pig, the digital camo mock up will look better in person as the club never gets the digital version right. I also expect Road Pigs weapons to be bright orange and not brown or burnt cienna. Attachment: Attachment: UK Tiger Force releases, I think Christopher from the Full Force spoke for the excitement in the room with everything from cheering to crying to actually going up on the club panel to hug them for getting around to some of out favorite designs. Honestly, they are solid builds with the paint schemes translated as expected. These are good figures to end an era with. Hit n Run and Psyche Out Attachment: Attachment: Attachment: Tunnel Rat and Blizzard Attachment: Attachment:

That Night Stalker female Cobra figure is actually going to be a 3-pack like the Club's previous female Cobra trooper set. They are just adding some diversity to the ethnicity of the heads instead of just different hair colors. I was not too surprised by "The Final Twelve" announcement. I thought they would have something up their sleeve like this. I like that I'll be able to add to my Tiger Force collection. And the new AT set is a great addition as well. The Ninja Force stuff is kinda "meh" for me but I like that they are trying to complete some sub-teams here or at least get as many out as they can. |

Lots of uggos. Sonic Fighters Viper is great. And Roadpig and Dodger aren't bad. |

Who wanted that PoC bike again? Where are the Ground Assault RAM, Dreadnok Gyro or VTOL (Skyhawk)? All fragile pieces that would do with an update. Roadpig lacks his orange tan, which is a large part of the camp fun of Super Sonic Fighters Roadpig. Marauders pair are for purists who want their team to match exactly. Funny, considering how few cared about the Marauders 10 years ago. Even so, they'll never have an official Marauder's Slaughter. |

I'm in for the Black Widow/Coils O'Doom 2-pack and maybe a couple of Sonic Vipers. Dodger will be fodder. Now to find a friend that is a Club member... OB |

On the whole, I'm impressed. Nice of the Club and Hasbro to do something like this to wrap things up. |

So, is this the real deth of teh line? What happens after this? No more club or TRU exclusives. Will Joe just be a movie tie-in after this? |

I mean, we won't know till Hasbro says something, but yeah, Joe is definitely in hibernation for the known future. I'd expect the earliest we'll hear anything is next Toy Fair, but it's more likely nothing till 2020. |

I think it all depends on that movie window. Also, just got my heads in the mail today. |

Well that escalated quickly! I was considering a few figures but now just the Slaughter Marauder ones. I was hoping to get the Night Stalker set but not any more. |

Yeah, $48 per figure killed that right quick. I get it. They had to essentially order these blind without knowing how many of them would actually sell through. The follow up email about it being the end of the line for GI Joe doesn't sit right with me either. They control the flow of product and set the price and are now trying to scare people into paying these prices or else. But they only have a year to sell through. Someone said the 12 figures, Zartan, and the Troopers all together is $700-something. That's insane compared to any other toyline out there. Their Black Friday sale with those stupid jetpacks listed on the bargain price of $33 shows they know jack squat about the community much less market value. |

Agreed, I was in for a couple of Vipers /Dodger, AT sets and maybe Falcon, but at that price, I have all the parts I have to make them myself. OB |
