I didn't realize the club was going to ship Big Lob during the con or before. I figure it would have been after. I got mine today though. Not a bad figure over all. He's a solid build and about as good as I would imagine making him myself I'd I were able to have one manufactured. His eyes are a little wonky, but not horrible. I had said elsewhere that he has a "kill me" look to his eyes, haha.

I still hate chest designs such as the numbers where they separate. That's always odd to me. Most of all here where it's just a small amount of the bottom numbers. Just shrinking the numbers a bit would have been better. No number on the back either. I kind of don't like loose band oilers and belts either. I guess that is one thing I liked on the old figures. You didn't have to worry about adjusting everything each time you pose it.

I mean, all that is nitpicking. It's a fun figure though. One I think is well, worth owning... yeah club pricing aside.

Closer looking at the figure, one eye is off. The eye on the left looking at it is fine, but the other eye is like it's turned toward his nose. There's some white paint also on his left from the number to under his arm. Stuff that I still say shouldn't exist for the price. I'll probably fix it so it looks right. I might end up fixing the number too if it gets too annoying.

Mine arrived today. Although I am first and foremost a collector of the ARAH figures, and am VERY pleased that the Club got around to Big Lob in that format before abandoning it, I have to say I think they did an excellent job with the modern-style Big Lob. Mine does not have the eye problem that J_Man cited (sorry to hear that, J_Man), and although I haven't yet stood him next to any other modern-style figures, he looks appropriately tall and lean. The headsculpt is a nice piece of work, too.

I find it very amusing that a character that had to wait as long as Big Lob did to be rendered into plastic at all now has TWO official figure versions out there, one in the ARAH format, and one in the modern-style format. I'm glad to have both in my collection.

And any figure that can withstand being parked in my mailbox for several hours on a day when the thermometer on my patio hit 114 degrees -- in the shade -- deserves to stay in my collection. I certainly can't fault the DURABILITY here! :)

I got mine too and I really like it. I had planned on selling it, but I think I'll keep it.

I got mine also.
So what are some fixes to making him a bit shorter and giving him ankle articulation? Right now Bazooka only stands up to his shoulders.

A leg swap would make the torso look long and the legs stumpy. I think he'd need several things done to rework him smaller. The torso piece is long, and the waist part extends him even further.
