Is there any difference between the vintage MOBAT and the one that came with the Ultimate Battle Pack? Maybe a slight different shade of green or something molded different? As for the 25th SHARC and its clones, am I correct in thinking that on the bottom of the sub is a back peg for ME figures as well as a couple hand holds? |

From what I can tell in the pics, it's a slightly cooler shade of green, and the plastic seems like a softer looking, more shiny plastic as well. Not sure if that helps. |

The 25 Sharc actually accommodates both old and new figures on the bottom side of it. The torpedoes are still held on using the vintage pegs. So you can remove a torpedo and add a figure as you could with the vintage. But they also added a peg at the center location for modern figures. The MOBAT from the UBP doesn't have a tow hook and also does not have the control sticks that the driver would hold on to. As far as colors and plastic go, I can't say. I don't have a vintage one handy to make a comparison. |
