I was at Barnes & Noble today. The store's been having this "Get Pop-Cultured" event all month, and apparently yesterday was some sort of tribute to the 80's. They had several large display boards with photographs of popular items from that decade.
Among these were "Top Trendy Toys of the 80's" or some such. And pictured were Transformers, My Little Pony, and -- the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
YOU - LEFT - OFF - G.I. JOE - YOU - IDIOTS!!!
Never mind the fact that toy-wise, the Turtles weren't really a factor until 1988, when the decade was nearly over.
