This is a pretty good read courtesy of GeneralsJoes and roving reporter Mysterious Stranger.

IDW synergy
More Kre-O and possibly GI Joe Kre-O

I found the Kre-o thing interesting. As in, I wonder if they are thinking of no longer copying Lego, and now copying MB instead?

One could always hope. I think that the 1/35 scale would be fun for GI Joe. Plus we'd be able to use army men accessories in our dios.

I wish I had more time to ask John Violette questions but he showed up at the end of the interview time so I only got a couple minutes with him. The Wolf Squad was going to be one of my follow up questions, among others.

Derryl, Mark and John were all great and I had a good time doing this interview. I spoke to Mark a little bit before the interview while we were waiting for Derryl to arrive and he is just as honest and genuine as when we saw him at JoeCon.

Wolf Squad: Hit & Run (fast/light attack and recon) finds the target, Sightline goggles it up and picks off the stragglers, and Ace drops dem bombz! I guess?

I kind of took the idea of Wolf Squad and ran with it. Night force is GI Joe's go-to recon team, and is split into three squads, all led by Falcon:

Panther Squad (Main Team)
Falcon
Outback
Tunnel Rat
Muskrat
Repeater
Crazylegs
Lightfoot
Spearhead

Wolf Squad (advanced recon/laser targeting)
Hit & Run (squad leader)
Sneak Peek
Sightline
Hot Spot (Red Spot from JvC)

Grizzly Squad (Support/Strike team)
Steeler (squad leader)
Grunt
Short Fuze
Psyche Out
Shockwave
Charbroil
Freestyle

Everybody here has been part of Night Force in some fashion, except for Hot Spot, and he's kind of a re-imagined character. I subbed out Ace for Freestyle because I just like the fit better.

I made a plane for the Wolf Squad a few years back.
