Ever since 1982 I've been a loyal Joe/Cobra Hasbro supporter, even when G.I.JOe was being produced by kenner toys in the 90's (after Hasbro/Kenner merged). So as a collector who loves the brand I think it's high time Hasbro/Kenner finds a way to incorporated past lines into G.I.JOE or finds new and creative ways to bring those past lines back for a whole new generation. For example I was thrilled when Hasbro included Agent Trakker of M.A.S.K. into JOES rank and File, but where Hasbro are the other members? Where's V.E.N.O.M.? G.I.JOE is the perfect springboard for these lines to branch off much in the same way modern t.v. series are producing spin offs, look at Arrow on the CW, it sprung off the Flash, I propose that Hasbro brings more classic characters into the Joe brand, Let's do the list C.O.P.S. (checkpoint himself is Beachhead's offspring).......M.A.S.K......Way past overdue, give them repainted R.O.C.C. and DTC Rhino and we have the perfect start........Centurions....OH YEAH, Max Ray, Jake Rockwell, and Ace McCloud!!!! Ol' Doc Terror could be in league with Cobra with new lt. Overkill and anew army of Battle Android Troopers! Lastly G.I.JOE could incorporate an entire year to Sky Commanders, Have Alpine join up with Specialist Mike Summit, and have Cobra lend the raiders some newly equipped Rock Vipers new hardware and it's on!....The Sky Commanders themselves could be a branch of the Adventure Team!.......I'd love to hear other members thoughts, M.A.S.K. I believe is the perfect start, Hasbro already gave us Agent Trakker, If we could just get a few more agents I believe this could start a fantastic new battle dynamic within the G.I.JOE Universe, We as fans automatically go straight to joe vs. transformers, (shared universe) I hope that Hasbro would like to broaden up that shared universe, my sister and I had a conversation years ago about how cool it would have been to learn that Jerrica Benton's father was killed by Zartan for the holographic technology, ......Not far fetched, the inhumanoids could also be an extension of the eco warriors and the "Evil that Lies Within monsters could have been crossed over with Cobra-la, Even the Visionaries could be used.....hear me out, think something like a stargate (but because of trademarks say the adventure team opens a portal to their world and finds themselves knee deep in a intergalactic struggle with both the Evil Knights of the magicl light or the Air Raiders Tyrants of Wind......If anyone with any pull is listening this is how Hasbro can expand it's UNIT-E Plans........One scale, joint toylines, all under Hasbro's banner.....I would love to see Alpine and the Sky Commanders fight off a Phata-7 drivin plot, All of this could stem from the original Adventure Team, just look at the sky commander vehicles....Adventure Team Yellow!.....Ace McCloud, Max Ray, Jake Rockwell..With Mike Power as the Centurions Commander (POWER EXTREME)..If anything the centurions could command an all newly formed Sigma 6/ G.I.JOE "EXTREME" style command force All under the G.I.JOE Brand........Yes, these are my thoughts, (NO...The Ace McCloud isn't my custom, It's just to show that the parts are available, that the Figure can be made).

A few thoughts--

Whoever did that Ace McCloud custom did one heck of an impressive job.

That UNIT-E comic was a cool method of promoting some of Hasbro's properties, but I hated how they portrayed MASK. That's not the MASK that I want to see in the toy stores.

Your idea of promoting some of these concepts through G.I. Joe is an interesting one, but it has one problem in my opinion -- G.I. Joe isn't nearly as popular as it used to be, and it's a tough sell to the retailers. This is why the next batch of G.I. Joe toys are a TRU exclusive. I suspect Walmart and Target didn't want it (and if the action figure sections of the Walmart and Target closest to me are any indication, they don't seem to want much of anything when it comes to action figures).

You start mentioning to them, "Oh, we're going to incorporate all of these other toy lines from the past into G.I. Joe", and I'm pretty sure their reaction would be, "Yeah, so? What else you got?"

It's a great idea, don't get me wrong. But the unfortunate bottom line is Hasbro would have to sell it to the retailers -- not to us -- and I don't see them going for it. Not if they won't even go for G.I. Joe in the first place. :(

With Hasbro releasing all those 2" figures, it would be a good time to release MASK toys.
Hey, you could even have Nick Fury ride along in your next adventure.

While the current construction of the modern Joe would be a fantastic base for all those beloved Kenner characters, I think that they should be released under their own banner or the joint UNIT-E name.
At this point, the GI Joe name might do more damage than good and, again, no cartoon, no big success. It's as simple as that.

Unit-E should be a skylander's/Infinity technology based virtual environment. I've been saying this for years.

The model exists for a giant virtual toybox to give additional life to the toys in the toybox. The technology is a proven hit, and even lego is getting into the action.

Hasbro needs to get moving on this. It's the answer to bridging the gap between virtual and electronic systems. They have everything in house or under contract/license to do this. Not sure why they aren't moving on this.

Maybe Unit-E is to gage reaction before they take the plunge?

I Haven't read the Unit-E comic(s)- what is the premise?

I know I have brought the Foundation for Law And Government into my universe they fund the corporation that supports MASK as well as Overdyne industries, a multinational robotics conglomerate (which bought out Omni-Corps) These corporations use their technological advancements for the preservation of the rule of law and government of the people.
Groups included:
(Knight Rider, A-Team, MASK, COPS, Centurions, Action Man and Team Xtreme, Danger Girl, Air wolf, Street hawk, Inspector Gadget, Robo-Cop)
