Last year the Club's membership figure was the awesome Cross Country, and we were also offered an appropriate membership vehicle, the green Snow C...er, I mean "Havoc :shifty: ." Has there been any announcment of a vehicle this year to go with Snow Bunny Mindbender? I thought I had read something about a Sharc painted blue with Cobra markings, but I've now seen that offered as an exclusive for the Joe Con.

Where did you see that the blue SHARC is being offered at JoeCon? I think at last year's JoeCon they showed a picture of it as a membership exclusive like the "Havoc II". They might have it at JoeCon available to purchase but they don't usually announce the JoeCon souvenirs ahead of time.

I just saw a picture of that too, on Facebook. Not sure what page it was on though.

The SHARC with Sub-Viper is the CLub exclusive vehicle for this year. It probably will be available for purchase at the con though, like the HAVOCat.

Ah, OK, maybe I misread the post. I knew they wouldn't announce the Con extras, and it just didn't seem to fit the Con set's theme this year anyway.
So it's the Club exclusive vehicle then. I can deal with that. I'm sure it'll sell out quick for all the Sharc love I hear.

An updated version of a repainted vehicle that didn't get much attention the first go around. Excellent selection. They really should have put some more thought in to this one. No where near as good as the HAVOC II from last year.

It isn't bad. I'm just not really all that interested in either the figure or the vehicle. i like the Sub Vipers. I just don't like this one enough to army build it at the cost it would to acquire it. And an army builder of 1 does not an army builder make.

Sub-Viper is awesome (so does this mean if we make a modern-era Black Ice this is the helmet to use ;) ) but I've never been THAT fond of the SHARC in general... Anyone wanna splitsies if I get it?

I liked the original Sub-Vipers, even if the SHARC, by whatever name you call it, is one of the most overused vehicles of all time, and has never been able to shake that silly "Flying Submarine"motif that it picked up when, during early product testing, kids treated the thing like a plane instead of a sub, so Hasbro accommodated them.

Hisstank has taken the picture down, but they gave a basic description, and this doesn't sound too bad, though.

However, the arctic Dr. Mindbender is so thoroughly uninteresting to me, I switched my Membership Figure to the 12" level for this year. I want the big glowing guy!

As for the Wave Crusher and Sub-Viper -- we'll see. No reason I can't buy that separately later if I want to, and have the $$ for it.

The GIJCC has asked that all pictures of it be removed, as one person on Facebook put it: "Lol, only the club would tell collectors not to share a picture of something they're "Trying to sell"".

I wonder if that means it has been cancelled?

There was a mention somewhere that the images were from the newsletter. I have yet to receive mine to see, but they may have been offended by the spoiler aspect of showing photos of the newsletter when people had not yet received it.

Ah. I thought the pics were from the slideshow when it was shown at JoeCon. If they were from the newsletter then I can understand them asking to have them taken down. They get really protective of the newsletter which is understandable since it is supposed to be for paying members and is one of the perks of membership.

I hadn't heard of this before, or if I did, I forgot...and the pic is gone before I saw it. I love Sub Viper. Such a great simple repaint of a figure I never had in my collection before. I'm all SHARCed out, though.
