Truthfully I had no intention of selling it unless they really overpaid. Even to sell it at cost wouldn't be worth it to me since they are so difficult to find and also to ship and move around when you do find them.

I normally really dislike the "pawn shop" style shows, but this one actually was fun to sit through. Probably because I like the stuff they were haggling about. Won me over when they gave the guy the Tick figures in exchange for the puppet, that was pretty cool of them.

The Flagg and Defiant can be a pretty heavy burden for a collector, especially if you don't have room to display them. They deteriorate with every move and pretty soon you can feel like they're nothing more than a box of junk. They're amazing pieces, especially assembled and displayed in their full glory, but I think a lot of people have found the cost of KEEPING them to be greater than the cost of GETTING them.

Congrats on the appearance, looks like it was probably a fun experience even if it didn't sell!

How far did you have to travel to the shop? Better yet, does the show give you some payment just for being on TV?

The shop is only about 45 minutes away from where I live in NJ.

Ha no...I wasn't paid for my appearance.
