The Joe Club Sale

They are having a "Get this the hell out'a my warehouse" sale, apparently with some old items that were "Sold Out," some that are the only one left, rare convention and club exclusives.

They start posting stuff today, and will continue to post weekly.

Also, the stuff you by from this sale comes with a "GIJCC Archives" certificate of Authenticity, that has the 1926 Hasbro Seal of Approval on it. It's pretty cool.

Well, I don't know.

From their wording, I think that want to get rid of the stuff. I think I recall "Deals" or a synonym being in their post on the forum.

Now that I get to The Store, I see that they are running regular prices on the "sale."

Geez, those MOTH sets had to be clearanced out the last time they had them up and now they want $45 a piece for them.

But they're from the archives (Brian's Garage)! Surely that's worth a couple extra bucks, right?

Nevertheless, I think "sale," in most everybody's book, is "discount on select items." Not "Full price for you to purchase (i.e. They're for sale)."

(And now I wish I hadn't looked at the sale, because I'd really like to have that Blades figure with the copter...) :-(
