Apparently there is no quality control for the 50th anniversary.
Please list your defects.
If there are paint problems pictures would be best.
Maybe keep it to one post and edit as needed. I'd like to see how wide spread this is. It's got to be the worst QC Joe has ever had.
I'm going to have to inspect mine more closely as I hadn't even had any time to open them yet.

Near transparent paint on Leatherneck's green forearms (looks like he's Hulking out).
Botched flesh paint on Leatherneck's head (looks like he's got some odd growths protruding through his hair).
Mismolded elbow joint on Beachhead's right arm (looks and bends funny).
No stands included in the Beachhead/Blueshirt/Viper 3-pack.

Same paint issues everyone else has been reporting and no Cobra Trooper stand in my 3pk, just a Viper stand and 2 BH stands.

My Viper Pit's Cobra Trooper was assembled with two left biceps.

That explains why he's so humongous.

Wow -- this is, to put it mildly, terribly unfortunate. G.I. Joe, and we collectors, certainly deserve better than this.

I haven't picked up any of the sets yet -- I'm sort of waiting for the Arctic B.A.T. -- but I have to say that nothing that I've seen in package has looked all that awful. Although I see that one of the problems is missing or erroneous battle stands. No way to verify that just by looking in the store.

Overall, I feel like I lucked out. The only problems I've had:

Both my Flints have dodgy forearm paint.
I got an eel that was missing the vinyl pin in his forearm so he can't bend at the elbow.
Both Heat Vipers have minor paint issues on their purple stripes.

I tried to warn people the samples from China weren't rejects. Someone on facebook posted a Leatherneck missing all the paint on half of his hair on the back of his head.

I think this is pathetic. For customizing it makes little difference, but for collectors, this is just a shame. Not sure how they let this happen.

its just making me really happy that the destro is the only one I was really interested in. and the one I got seems to look pretty good. it really is shameful the treatment the 50th is getting.

I've yet to go looking for these sets, but from the what I'm reading it looks like hasbro has across the board dropped their QC standards. It's unacceptable and inexcusable.

Something tells me when I finally see it, I'm going to be looking over the Arctic B.A.T. VERY closely.

Based from what i have read, I will not be buying these sets/figures online. I will hold out until Canadian TRUs get them to inspect in person.

I expect better from Hasbro, not dollar store crap.
