Possibly old news here, but the latest issue of the Collectors' Club Magazine covers the "G.I.Jeff" episode of "Community", including interviews with the producer, and one of the people who designed the custom figures!

The issue also has photos of the figures themselves (some of which hold up better than others in photographs as opposed to their TV appearances, as one might expect), not to mention two vehicles that were NOT used in the episode!

We get a good look at the "Submachopter", but there's also a motorcycle that's arguably just a BIT over the top, but additionally, a very cool six-wheeled tank-like vehicle that I certainly would welcome into my collection!

Overall, a great behind-the-scenes look at the episode, and the toys!

It was a great article. I say that with a ton of jealousy. We tried every which way to get in touch with the designers to get more behind the scenes on how those customs were made. Never heard back from anybody anywhere. So the club, and I'm guessing Jim Sorenson, got some awesome access most fans wouldn't get to pull this off. Those were great interviews. The response by Ryan Nagata who did the customs made me feel pretty dam good too.

Here's some other stuff we tracked down.

James McDermont was a designer on the episode and helped with the animated turn arounds based on Ryan's vehicle customs. hopefully this will help customizers make this vehicle.

Brent Noll did some designs for a MOBAT and a Cobrot which I thought was really neat.

Man I miss having my membership. I was really getting into the comics when my membership ran out. These look awesome.
