What are the accessories you just can't find for your figures and custom projects? Any movie/video game specific weapons and gear you just can't find in Joe scale? Any horribly mundane, everyday objects you'd just like to see in tiny plastic form? Any equipment you need for a specific character that you just can't find? Jut throwing this question out there to see what the community might be looking for.

Personally, here's some I'm thinking about:
Half-Life: Gordon's crowbar, headcrab accessories (one with a neckball post on its bell to fit on figures)
Portal: Aperture Science's Portal Gun
Photojournalism equipment: For Peter Parker figures, Frank West from Dead Rising, and for embedded combat reporter figures
Instruments: I worked on a guitar for my Johnny Cash custom, would like to make a few more instruments for other musician figures, Blues Brothers customs, Six String Samurais, etc.

For me, I'd say what I wish for the most is a more diverse range of jacket/vest pieces to use. Like civilian type things, more suit coats, more lab coats, but then more other types of jackets. Hoodies, windbreakers, stuff like that. You put the right coat thing on a figure and you can change his entire appearance.

This is a good point. I think one of the frustrations is that they have to fit kinda snug to not look bulky/ugly, but then it might not fit over certain base figures if it's TOO tight. I wouldn't want something as simple as a Marvel Universe under every figure, but otherwise I like the idea.

Of what doesn't exist or exists in the wrong scale:

Balisets or Lutes (for bardic characters)

Hand lanterns (Marx toys made a great one that has a large ring and four windowed sides.)

Hand Harps(Brian Boru style)

Nice tankards (I have some in metal, but plastic would be better)

Ship navigating tools (astrolabe, compass, straight edges, good quality printed maps, telescope, etc.)

Lockpicking tools (both fantasy and contemporary)

A nice backpack/satchel that can be filled and closed (I have one from some obscure toy line that has straps, can be closed, but it is a bit modern for my needs)

A nice "six set" of kunai, and also classic throwing knives.

Empty quivers. Sure, we get full ones and there was one or three that can be filled, but a nice quiver with a complement of a dozen arrows would be killer.

In scale Great Horned owl with wrist cuff feet sculpting.

Harvested deer with soft plastic cavity (think lightsabered Taun-taun kind of sculpt).

A large collection of usable treasure: The Chap Mei cat's eye necklace, Indy Holy grail chalice(the bad choice one), Namor's bracers in gold, silver, and bronze metallics, Dwarven Forge collection of scrolls, tomes, and reliquary boxes..)

I need good, solid, spears that are strong enough for impaling.

Dock clutter (fishing poles, buckets, a nice selection of in-scale fish varieties)

SFX skins: These are essentially soft plastic static body sleeves that can be fitted over a figure much like the Van Helsing werewolf body form. Options can be burned flesh, mummy wrapped, insect covered, treasure covered, modern bandages/tubes, shark attack damages, etc.

Collection of arcane books and tomes. I am currently making a Sculpey mold of various arcane books and tomes both opened and closed from what I have been able to amasse over these decades. But a nice RTV mold for today's plastics and such would be neat.

Toothbrush. Seriously, wouldn't it be fun to see once in a diostory someone getting reminded to take their toothbrush?

Good two handed swords. They are so far and few between. You can get close with a McFarlane, depending on who you get it from, but for the most part your figure will look like a Final Fantasy figure with that oversized sword. Two hands or hand-and-a-half sword would be sweet.

Animal skeletons. Bird, fish, wolf, snake, bat, pig, any and all.

Nightcrawler tails. Got a Tiefling fetish so sue me.

A "bitz" sprue: Three gold coins overlapped, severed ear set(regular and Elven), corked topped vial, quill pen with corked ink bottle, dagger and fork, turkey leg with bites out, small fife, two lit and one unlit candles, medieval styled tongs, small coin bag.

Usable foot/shoe pack: Mandarin's pointed shoes, SW Daultay Dofine's pointed shoes, Weapon X bare feet, my custom cloven hooves, SW Emperor Clone's wrapped feet, SW Smexy Shaak Ti's wrapped feet, Baroness high heels, IJ Cemetary Warrior moccassins, Hoth Han's near moccassin shoes, SW Wolfy dude's feet, GIJOE Black/Red Ninja styled wrapped waraji feet.

The issue with voluminous SW styled robes I can fix with my Sewing Genie. Just turn them inside out, and sew them above the current stitching. You can do this to taste or dimensions.

Cap, your list was like reading through the shopkeeper's inventory in an old D&D game. Love it.

Agree with Lance also - I really don't understand why we can't have even just one single wave of Joe civilians and Marvel civilians. It could revitalize the line if they ran with it and branched off therefrom. Playmobil has a whole line based on this, and Lego wouldn't be Lego without a heavy dose of civvy influence.

So what you're saying is... SPUTNIK IS RIGHT

And I'll have to echo Dan. Instruments would be great. Three times now I've had to fashion guitars from scratch. It sucks, I hate it. Plus I'd like other instruments as well. A grand damn piano would be cooler than a cat on a hot tin roof sundae.

Yeah, I have this pipe dream of starting with accessories to learn more about modeling, 3d printing, and manufacturing, and then designing a line of 4" figures that are pretty much ONLY civilian designs with zombie parts you could swap out.

I could definitely see potential for that. I think an upright might be a little more versatile, but some sort of keyboard for sure. Mic stands, drum set, even a turn table set up with speakers.

I can't get enough of these. Every time I get them I find a use for them immediately.

For me, technology. Not enough smart phones, tablets, smart watches, network stuff. 5 years ago there weren't enough laptops. We have a good amount now, but not enough gadgets.

a lot of the things listed here can be found in dollhouse stuff. Lil Bratz has some pieces that work, and we all know some Playmobil is compatible.
