Just noticed this when it came up as an Amazon suggestion. Seems like some artist might have gotten a wee bit of inspiration from the Night Attack chopper. Or just ripped the rotors off and said, "There!"

I also recall that Art Adams gave Cannonball SciFi v1's helmet and chest armor in purple in one of the Xmen Annuals. The first when Mojo turned them into Xbabies, iirc.

The funny thing about that is whoever was regularly illustrating GIJoe never seemed to be able to get Sci-Fi's helmet right. But Art Adams did it just fine in the New Mutants annual.
