I stopped into the local B&N bookstore and saw a new book that caught my attention. It is called, "SNAFU"
This is the sister book of one titled, "FUBAR: Soldier Slang of World War II"
http://amzn.com/1435120639"SNAFU: Sailor, Airman, and Soldier Slang of World War II"
http://amzn.com/B00F1W07E6FUBAR has been a joy to read from a trivia aspect, but it has been a vital source for potential codenames for my characters.
I hadn't known of the SNAFU book, but just scanning through it, it has given me some new ideas.
B&N had SNAFU for $7, and it is well worth it.
